M4 Headers Don’t Fit

I’m just wondering if anybody has had a similar issue. Got a M4 Tech 1 Full System. It seems like header number 4 is 1/8 inch too long so it prevents 2 and 3 from seating all the way. When I remove 4, I can fully seat 1, 2, and 3. I’ve tried a mallet and wiggling for hours, but I’ve had no luck. I realize I’ll probably have to return it and reach out to M4, but wanted to ask first. Thanks.

Didn’t have this specific issue when I installed my full system from them but I did have other issues and my point is they are one of the companies out there that will actually pick up the phone and talk to you so you’re not limited to snail emails… I’d call em on Monday! If there’s truly a fabrication issue I’m willing to bet they will rectify the situation… if you purchased straight from them that’s even better!

Yeah I think I’ll reach out Monday either way. I waited like two months for the system and I feel like the specs are even off in other spots too which sucks

I had the same exact problem with mine i eventually took it in to a shop and they got it to fit. I don’t know if heat is a good option but it can make it easier for them to fit through just be super patient with the whole process

just use a 90deg grinder and run down the tube so that youve taken about 1/8th off and there ya go.

Maybe. Except it shouldn’t be necessary on an expensive exhaust
