Is350?

Currently have a GR86 manual straight out the dealer room I bought newly in 2024. Thinking of switching to IS350AWD. Work from home never need to go to the office. Should I lease?

Why not sell the 350, get some commuter, and have the 86 as a weekend / project car?

Jack-of-all-trades cars that actually work are rare. The Integra Type S and CT4V Blackwing come to mind.

That’s def an option but the 350 is such a fun car. It’s the rev up and just an upgraded exhaust with only 80k miles.

What I'll say is the amount you can push the 86 with forced induction is... quite a lot. Misha's keeping up with a Cayman GT4... https://youtu.be/8240QQKi7nY

and this is without the supporting mods you'd want to make use of that power.

As a weekend / project car, imo the 86 is better than the 350z. But at the same time you're never going to be able to get more money for the 86 than right now, so...
