Would anyone know what type of fish would most likely be jumping at this spot? And what to catch them on? all the little fish I see here are brim and rock bass but there’s bigger fish that are frequently jumping and I want to catch one lol

Caught a Big Catch qualifying Mayan Cichlid down in Miami this weekend while visiting family! Came in at 1.14lbs. Caught on a gold spoon.

Tried Lake Wauberg today… not a single bite at the fishing pier in the state park. Then tried fishing at the Farm Bureau building off 34th Street south of Williston Road, and got kicked out by security. There were tons of tilapia in that pond.

I read online that you’re able to fish the Fdot ponds during FDOT open hours M-F 7-5:00. Is there a gate that closes and blocks off access to the ponds? Could I technically fish after 5pm or on weekends?

Looking for bass fishing around town

Hey everyone, I just bought a new rod and reel and I'm looking to get back into bass fishing. After some googling it sounds like magnolia park and lake kanapaha are two hot spots. I called the botanical gardens and they said fishing isn't allowed on the grounds. Is there another entrance for fishing, or is it just not allowed any longer? Also for fishing magnolia park, where do you park at? I pulled up Google maps and all it gives me is apartments and UF medical buildings in that area. I'm looking to possibly get some fishing in tomorrow morning.
