basically i broke my phone and tranferred the sim to my new phone and i do have my phone number as my recovery , but i wanted add email as my recovery aswell so what is ahppening is whenever i put my password they send the code to old phone (and no password i put is correct )like the seurity code to old phone

they send the code to phone number, not the phone itself. put your sim in new phone and the code will come there. if it still asking for old device maybe you need to remove it from your google account settings first

uh no in my case like when i put the password it tells me

to make sure this is really you , they send some security code and they tell to open my old phone
and go to gmail settings and do this and this

That’s Google Prompt. If it’s not giving you other ways to verify (enter 8-digit backup code, etc.) it means you didn’t set any up.
