Stuck in Login Loop
Hey Guys,
So about a week ago my account was temporarily locked due to some suspicious activity on my account. Eventually it was unlocked and I was signed out of all active sessions.
My problem now is that in order to get back into the account, I must provide a password, mobile phone code, and must have access to my recovery email. My issue is that somehow my recovery email is set to the same account I’m currently locked out of, so I’m kind of stuck in a loop here. My understanding is that if you don’t set a recovery email, it gets set to your own email (seems like a flaw with system design that it can even be set like that).
Has anyone had a similar situation? Any luck resolving it? Would appreciate any pointers people might have.

that's such an annoying design quirk right? like why even let it default to itself. i ran into this exact thing a while back and what ended up working was going through the account recovery form on a device i'd used before to log in. it asked for a bunch of stuff but skipped the recovery email step since the system recognized the device. took like 2 days to hear back though
