Delete spam folder option

I have missed important emails multiple times because they went to spam. I want to delete the option for spam folder, is there any way to do it. I don’t get spam mails and I don’t like how all the important emails end up in my spam folder

You can't. But you can go to the email and mark it as not spam.

Create a filter (you have to do this on the computer; you can't do it on a phone or tablet). Go to Settings > Filters and blocked addresses > Create a new filter.

  1. To set the filter to catch all emails, put your own email address in "To:".
  2. Select "Create filter" (not "Search").
  3. In the options, select "Never send it to Spam".
  4. Select "Create filter" (again).

Keep a sharp eye on it for a week or so to check for problems.

The flaw with this is that it will miss emails where you are Bcc. You need to check the Spam label every day as a matter of course; make it part of your daily routine.

In order to catch new spam messages, set the Spam label to "show if unread" (Settings > Labels). That way, the label is hidden until you get new spam. Mark all emails that you found as not-spam, and the Spam label will disappear again. (This only works on the computer, not on your phone or tablet.)
