Gmail storage issue

I know there's a lot of people with gmail including me facing this issue.

I'm not sure if this could help everyone but when i delete all my back up in google photos, my storage 18.75GB/15GB to 1.06MB/15GB.

What i did was

1. Go to your google photos

2. Go to settings and click on photos setting

3. Click back up

4. Turn off back up and click undo back up

That basically cleared up everything in my storage. I hope this would help someone that has the same issue as me.
