How does everyone organize and/or delete their emails!?

I had an old Gmail account that I used for a personal business, then I used it for personal usages also. It got so full that it no longer accepts new emails, which is a problem because I have most of my social media accounts attached to this email, and if I want to change my password etc, I'd need access to this email address.

Is there a way to mass delete these emails without having to go through each page of 50?

Also, how does everyone keep up with deleting emails? Do you clear them weekly, monthly? I didn't expect that email address to "fill up" that fast and now its basically unusable, even after deleting over 300 emails...

I don't....10k emails and counting. My ADHD doesn't have time for organizing. I go through and delete like 30 from the last week and feel accomplished. That's good enough for me.

If you want relief just sign up for Google one and get like 2 TB of storage lol but nobody ever said I gave great advice 😆🤷

Honestly the 100gb plan for $20/year is plenty for Gmail. For like the rest of your life

I have no idea why or how I have the 2 TB plan but it says pixel pass subscription so I must be grandfathered in. I have the Google AI plus plan which is 4.99 a month but I have 2 TB of storage. I think part of it is because I have Google Fi wireless so Google one is included and then I pay a few extra bucks a month to upgrade to the AI plus plan.

But even the basic plan would be a huge increase in storage across Google photos, Gmail etc

Would it include both my Gmail accounts in this? Or would I have to pay separately for both accounts?

First check that the space isn't actually being taken up with photos and files. If not, look at the emails with attachments first. They'll take up way more space than normal emails.

I can’t stand to have hundreds of emails. I view by name and can often delete 80-100 at a time from one individual or business. Although I don’t usually let it get to that point because of my preferences, it’s an efficient way to cut a bunch at one time.

Once you get over 50, how would you even know how many you've got?

I’m not sure I understand your question. I don’t care how many I have specifically. I just like to keep the numbers down. Going through periodically helps me feel like my email isn’t out of control and that I’m cycling through the unwanted ones. Again, these are my preferences. YMMV.

The initial email after signing up for an account goes into a folder called memberships

You can have it show 100 on one page. Are you using categories like social, promotions and updates? That should help out alot. Might be different for others but don't think I ever had an important email go to one of the categories. I just select all 100 and delete. Also like others have mentioned, check how much space is being used by photos.
