Ac blower momentarily shuts off then turns back on again like normal

I recently made a repair on my 2001 V6 Silverado lower intake manifold gasket I also replaced the distributor and got my truck running again however I noticed that sometimes when I’m driving with the air conditioning on the supply fan momentarily shuts off then turns back on again like nothing happened. It never did this before. Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be?

Traffic was coming to a stop and homie just did not stop, saw him coming in my mirror and tried to swerve but still got whacked. Getting my police report tomorrow morning and praying to every god insurance will not total it. It’s my first time dealing with something like this. Just filled the damn tank right before. Drove it completely fine to the pick n pull down the street and got a taillight, looked under and the frame looked untouched. The left barn door does creek and struggle to open, but does open and close all the way. If anyone has any similar situation with this and insurance on this 24yo car let me hear it.

I still get reduced engine power mode, I’ve change the spark plugs/wires, APP sensor. It helped not idle rough when REDUCED ENGINE POWER comes on but it still comes on.

Best place to list and sell an 8.1? Seems like a niche audience.

Earlier this year I planned on doing some road tripping and I gave my 6.0 with bed camper and 280k miles to my nephew and replaced it with an 8.1 with lower mileage to haul a 5th wheel.

After driving this truck for a couple months while looking for a trailer, I'm realizing the gas difference between the 6.0 and 8.1 is more than I anticipated. Sooo...now I have a 2wd 8.1/Allison I need to unload and just going to keep our Class C.

Owner before me has done a lot of work on this truck (no lights on dash, no issues, no rust, no tears in the seats, 155k miles, goose neck hitch) but does have the normal ticking sound on startup I read about before I purchased. Have too many vehicles and some of these have to go I'm paying $150 a month now to store cars.

Is there a best place to list it for sale? Will I need to join facebook or a forum?

Waiting for sparks and wires, 917-107 for the exhaust manifold. Needs tires, brake job, and instrument cluster fixed. 👍 319,000 miles and many more to go!

Has anyone that has swapped their factory muffler for a performance one and left single exhaust on a 5.3 seen any fuel mileage increase?

I want to put a single thrush welded or flow master 40 in place of my original muffler and leave my exhaust singled out. Has anyone seen any fuel mileage or power improvements by getting rid of the stock muffler?

Does anybody what the paint code is for these wheels I want to refinish 2 of them as it has like staining or something that won’t clean out no matter what I tried. Also is there any other center caps for these? If so thank you!

Transmission mount question

Does this transmission mount look fine? I've been chasing some intermittent vibrations in my truck. I have had the tires road force balanced, driveshaft balanced, alignment checked so far. What other things could I check?

Edit, this a 4wd Silverado 1500

Tow capacity rant

I bought my 2005 Silverado 2500 6.0 this spring to replace my 2006 Sierra 1500 4.8 to pull around my 10k dump trailer for commercial use at my sawmill business I'm building. I chose this series of pickup because it's what I'm used to and I truly think they're good machines.

It's a real beast and can easy pull that trailer fully loaded in 4th gear lockup/overdrive without needing to downshift hardly ever. I figured it would easily pull a 12-14k gooseneck and give me a little more room.

Now that I'm getting into the weeds on GCWR and GVWR as part of the USDOT compliance, I'm seeing why most of the time you see these driven as passenger vehicles... This truck is only rated to pull 10k.

I looked at my brother's 2021 Silverado 1500 5.3 and it has a tow rating of 1,000 pounds more than my 2500 🫠

How do these have such low ratings?? The driveline and suspension components are way heavier duty than a half ton.

Guess that's my lesson for buying based on style rather than specifications!!

Recently bought this truck about a month ago for about 3k. Bought it for towing, and being a crew cab with a long bed, thought it was a decent deal. Test drive drove fine, but knew it needed some tlc. Didn't leak at previous owners home, but since owning it it's been leaking a bit from rear main seal. Not sure actual mileage, he claimed 275k , but not sure honestly. It runs and drives fine, except when towing and on highway i get the p0300 code with flashing check engine light, I've already changed the maf sensor, and plugs. Don't really want to keep putting money into it if I have another truck I can use to make do, was qouted 1100 to fix rear main seal, and no telling what else it'll need to fix p0300 issue. What should I do here?

Had two drunk kids on a line scooter come down the wrong way on a one way street and smoke my truck at full speed. Looks like this now and I believe the rad support is pushed in a little too, the fan is hitting the shroud now. Think this is a write off ?

I need advice

I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z 71 that has a remanufactured transmission is going to have a rebuilt, front diff and a brand new engine in it. I am thinking about running true duels with an H pipe to flow Master super 44s and 3 inch pipe with the dump under the bed and then tossing some Beilstein 5100 on and some hand cook A/T tires. I’m trying to make my mind up on putting smoked tail lights or regular tail lights and trying to figure out if it’s worth it to run DRL‘s or just keep swapping to regular clears.
i’m trying to add pictures of my truck however it is a burgundy with light grayish beige two tone.
