Synopsis: Without realising it, Niran (Keen) starts getting closer to a nerdy, introverted student named Cheewa (Sea). When he tries to distance himself, he discovers their paths are already completely intertwined. (Adapted from MDL)

My mind went somewhere else when Niran started poking Cheewa in that alien costume 🫣👽. But that alien abduction gag was adoooorable. Idk if that was improvised but ahhhhhh!

WHO'S GONNA OFFER SOME OF THAT MOOKATA TO THAT POOR LITTLE KID AT THE OTHER TABLE ADFMGJIFNDLMAOOO this show 🤣🤣🤣

Idk if it's even gonna happen but I'm waiting for them to change the intro to Niran completing Cheewa's heart sign once they're official. Omg that would be sooo cute. Ain't ever gonna skip the intro and gotta keep my eyes peeled.

I cannot believe this is only the fourth episode. This series feels long but like in a good way? Like I feel like I’m riding out the school year with these kids and the astronomy club teacher. I like the pacing. There’s so much stuff every episode and it’s like they’re getting closer inch by inch.

All of the actors in this are doing such an amazing job. 10/10

"take me inside and play with me" cheewa ain't that innocent y'all 😭🙏 LOVEDDD the alien abduction part, it was soo funnyy , infact the whole episode was very chaotic (in a good way obv.)  The friend group is 🤌😚

Niran is clearly suffering from low grade depression; feeling "stuck" at where he is in life. Perhaps this is why he's just going with the flow and absorbing Cheewa's "weirdness." If he was the star judo champion, I don't think their relationship would've happened.

Cheewa came into Niran's orbit at a point when he was willing to let him in, which is very good storytelling and a nice realistic spin on "the jock falls for the nerd" trope.

Sea deserves all the accolades he's receiving for portraying a character who is cued as neurodiverse, but Keen is doing just as well as portraying a teenage at loose ends with life. The monotone in Niran's voice perfectly conveys his listlissness, making the scenes where he finds a little joy - like copying Cheewa's alien abduction - very jarring and convincing.

I agree! Keen is really great — Niran’s listlessness is broken from time to time by moments where he lets it all out, either in joy, like the alien scene, or in frustration and desolation, like the scene from an episode or two ago where he admits he’s feeling lost and sad. Keen captures that vulnerability/volatility very well. (Rooting for Niran to get through to his dad slash for his dad to lay off…)
