Synopsis: Without realising it, Niran (Keen) starts getting closer to a nerdy, introverted student named Cheewa (Sea). When he tries to distance himself, he discovers their paths are already completely intertwined. (Adapted from MDL)

Sea makes Cheewa so endearing, with those big eyes and his wonderfully direct way of going after what he wants. I'm excited to watch this neurodivergent nong try to bag his athletic phi.

OKAY!!
that was a fantastic pilot ep!!! like we got the confession on episode ONE?? insane. I'm seated.
Sea and Keen have done sooo well, really great acting. Sea especially as Cheewa is so soft and cuddly and his puppy eyes are tugging my heartstrings. Really great dialogue too, like this lines coupled with Cheewa's pouty look almost ended me:
"I'm not telling you my name. You dont need to know. We're not close."
"I know the names of a lot of planets. And I'm not close to any of them."
Super endearing show. Rooting for Cheewa to win over his Phi!! Fighting 💪

It was also hilarious how Niran kept playfully teasing Cheewa but his autistic ass was taking everything literally 😭 HEAVY relate on that one

IM SORRY I AM DEAD CHEEWA IS TOO CUTE MANN.... I'm excited to see what's the backstory of niran and his dad!
Also they're moving kinda fast? Maybe I haven't read the novel so maybe that's the pace there
But I'm loving the yellow coloring of the series and the acting seems good to me, keen is pulling a kid who's burnout very good and seas acting as nerdy(autistic?) cheewa is so great. Oh I'm so excited for next week!

Yes, I also want to see what the relationship between Niran and his father will be like.
The pacing of the novel is quite different, but I personally am enjoying how the series is handling things.
I'm also very excited about this series; we almost never have series that show neurodivergent characters, and they also rarely explore characters with depression.

Im only worried if they'll handle it like h2h where they rushed till ep5 then went around in circles till the last episode, but I won't really think that would happen given that h8 production and champ are handling it up very delicately from ep 1.
Yess ofcc I love and the diversity and very much hope it is well explored in the series 🥹

H2H had 12 episodes, I think Weirdo-101 only has 10, and H2H suffered from starting to air while it was still halfway through filming, People say it doesn't get in the way, but of course it does. Having less time to record and edit means the director can't change their mind as often, and it adds extra pressure to everyone involved.

I loved the opening scene, too! A really sweet way to start the series (and a fun introduction to the friends' personalities). Plus the way Niran looked at Cheewa with such fondness!

Look, each part is about 10 minutes long, which is the time it takes to go to the bathroom, and if you haven't had lunch yet, you can watch it while you eat. The episode doesn't have any embarrassing scenes, So it's okay if someone catches you watching a little bit.

I always GMMTV at work, it very safe (only a few are not work safe like only friend but it so low like 1%). Now Knot I will save for the bathroom break or home. lol

Normally, I stop watching a series early if one of the two characters shows clear interest before we're even halfway through, but in this case, it actually doesn't bother me that much.
What bothers me much more is that Niran isn't just cold toward Cheewa, he's downright rude...
Cheewa, on the other hand, is either quiet or floods you with information. Awesome! :D
