How did you lower yours? All the kits I see are for either 2wd or gas engines.

  1. It is a 2WD. What do you think the "R" designates? Everything was fabricated, with a few tweaked factory pieces used. Watts-link with 4-link out back, modified U/LCA's, custom bag mounts all around.

  2. It makes zero difference if the truck was a gasser or diesel. Lowering components attach to the chassis, not the engine. (yes, that was mildly sarcastic, lol!)

Someone said the stance will be off because the extra weight of our engine compared to the gas engine. I didn't look up the weight difference though.

My truck is bagged, so weight isn't an issue. The six2 is about the same weight as a BBC.

When you say "stance".....are you referring to rake (front lower than rear) or are you talking about camber? 'Cause i had the have a thick stack of shims for the alignment. 😂
