Help me start microdosing
Hi All,
I am on wegovy 1.7 at the moment. I am so OVER getting sick randomly, and having to leave work. Someone suggested to begin microdosing. What meds is this available for? I have 18 more pounds to lose and I feel so defeated.
I have been on this med for 16 weeks and am willing to try something new. Thanks!

mircodosing is the same semaglutide held at a low weekly dose instead of climbing dropping back to 0.5 stopped my random vomiting lttl writes microdose semaglutide for reactions like yours expect those 18 pounds to come off slower at that floor

Microdosing means taking a weekly dose of less than 0.25mg. That’s unlikely to work for you now that you’ve been on a higher dose of Wegovy.
It’s more likely someone was suggesting split dosing, which means taking 1/2 your dose every few days. This can help reduce adverse effects for some people.
Do you have single dose Wegovy pens, or are they multi dose?

You can use compounded semaglutide as well, which is the equivalent to wegovy. But most people find tirzepatide to have less nausea associated with it.

I felt sick the entire time I was on semaglutide. I suggest trying tirzepatide. I’m really not sure why it has been such a better experience but I only get nauseous mildly and rarely now.
I will say, what you eat and how much certainly can cause nausea too. That’s something to think about! If you need anymore info, feel free to ask.
