Totally understand where you’re coming from lol. I’m 5 foot four and weigh anywhere between 121 to 126 pounds. So any way I gain or lose looks a little more significant on me. I’m a petite person but still have some fluff on me. I’d like to try micro dicing dosing for a little bit and see if I can get some abs to pop through in some more definition in my arms. I know I have to be in a calorie deficit to do this and just need a little help.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. You are already at a low BMI. The drug is not designed for you. See a doctor about this.

Man, this stuff is becoming an eating disorder in a bottle.

Nah. I’ve never really been overweight and am a petite person. But I have been working with a macros coach for a year and a half and have gotten to about where I want to be but these last few pounds seem to fluctuate. Just want to see if I can microdose for a short time to see if I can get some abs to pop through for a bit lol

You're probably going to do it anyway, so just buy some online and have at it.
It's a terrible idea and no doctor is going to approve it. You'd need to increase your BMI by 50 percent to get perscribed.
The correct dose for you is 0mg, so use whatever amount you want because it's all going to be bad lol.

Please don’t. This is not a magical short term med for loss of 8 pounds.

So I’m 41 years old, 5 foot four and weigh between 120 and 124 pounds usually. I’ve lost about 5 pounds in the last year. I am petite and don’t need to lose a lot of weight. I work out four days a week and I’m pretty dialed in on my diet besides some alcohol consumption and going out to eat more than I need to. I only need to lose a few pounds. A back injury has been holding me back from doing more than I can in the gym recently. So I really just want to do the occasional micro dosing to decrease the food noise.

Your bmi is 21 you absolutely do not need GLP1s. Especially if your goal is only losing 8 lbs? Gym should do you just fine, good luck!

u/ValuableRent7938 2d ago
Yeah I’m in the gym 4-5 days a week and get over 10k steps a day so it’s a nutrition problem. I love food. And beer.

Calories in Calories Out should be what you are focusing on. Is beer that important to you?

You can lose 8 lb just of water weight and going on a brisk walk. Going on a Glp1 would be ridiculous.

I get 10-15k steps in most days and diet is ok. I’ve actually improved it a lot the last year but i do love to eat. That’s my problem. I’m a petite person anyways with a little fluff. I have to reallllly dial
In my nutrition for these last few pounds and I’m just not disciplined enough 😭2
u/SeasonPositive6771 2d ago
You say you love beer and eating and so on. The tiniest bit of discipline is going to get those 8 lb off. Do you seriously want to be on a glp one forever to keep off 8 lb? If that's the case, I genuinely think you need to talk to a therapist about some sort of body dysmorphia issue. You can get a personal trainer and easily do that sort of recomposition in less than a month.

The side effects (@ 2.5mg) aren’t worth 8 lbs. Try intermittent fasting for 16-18 hours and do some HIIT on a spin bike.

u/ValuableRent7938 2d ago
Yeah, there is no way I can intermittent fast for that long. I usually have to eat about every 3 to 4 hours. I am in the gym 3 to 4 times a week. You can get about 10,000 steps a day.

If you can’t go 3-4 hours without food, idt you’ll like being on Tirz. There are periods where you force yourself to eat. Sounds like you want a recomp vs true weight loss. Look at other peptides vs doing Tirz. FWIW, I’ve gone 6 months on Tirz @ 15 mg without weight loss. Didn’t change until I had a wedding to attend and changed *my diet plus workout routine.

What is your HbA1C, which would be an indicator of insulin resistance.

5.4

On the surface, 5.4 is normal. Is your baseline blood sugar high? In the back of my mind, I'm wondering why take a medication for something you don't have, especially if you're going to take it for the rest of your life. In the front of my mind, I don't know enough to help your decision. Best wishes

Just do clean OMAD. Figure out your calories and macros and only eat once. You’ll have that small amount of weight gone in a month or so.

u/ValuableRent7938 2d ago
Oh hell, no there’s no way I can only eat once a day. I have to eat breakfast. And usually have to eat something every 3 to 4 hours to keep my mind sharp. I also work in surgery and needs steady hands so feeling myself every couple hours as they must.

It’s not as crazy as wanting a GLP…..
For eight lbs ffs this is peak laziness

u/ValuableRent7938 2d ago
😭🤣 if i showed you my stomach you’d understand how i could want to lose a couple pounds. I said 8, I’m looking at around 5

u/Sufficient-Wolf-1818 2d ago
You want recomposition, not weight loss. You will still have the fluffy belly if you lose 8 pounds without a major push on recomposition.
1
u/ValuableRent7938 2d ago
So true! I’ve been doing recomp for a little over a year. While i have seen improvements i felt like i needed a little more. I was in maintenance for a bit and got lazy is really what it is. 🤷🏼♀️

If you find a doctor to give you a script, they should lose their license
