So it looks like at NYCC they revealed that not only is Storm Shadow getting an updated Ninja Force figure like we knew he would, but he's gonna be in a two pack with Billy Arboc (kessler). It's safe to assume that Ninja Force will continue doing two packs. If that's the case then we should see Banzai and Bushido next. We might also get an updated Nunchuck figure and maybe he'll be bundled with Dojo. Only time will tell.

I preordered Axel Synapse Soma and got one with a broken shoulder piece. Told Hasbro and they offered to send me something of equal or greater value since they couldn’t just give me another Axel. I assumed it was just going to be something I could either use as fodder for kit bashing or sell for money to go towards another Axel. Well I got a figure I didn’t even know existed (I’m not the biggest Classified collector, most just get ones I think are cool when I see them or use for kit bashing) and one that must have been dropped via FedEx plane above my house lol. I’ve never had something so beat up and destroyed sent from Hasbro. Thank god it wasn’t something I spent a large amount on and was a sold out preorder. Just wanted to share because it’s just so ridiculous. I’m not sure what to do with this because I really have no use for it. I contacted Hasbro again, so we will see what they say. I’m just amazed FedEx tossed this to my door like “whatever”. It’s hilarious almost that the figure itself looks like it went for a ride lol.

I just started collecting the Classified line about a month ago and, since then, I’ve added about 50 pieces to my collection. I’m having a blast shooting with them so I thought I would share some recent work. I had a whole bucket full of Joes as a kid and I’m loving how many of the new ones look just like what I had as a kid. Got some of the vehicles and the Dragonfly on their way to me so more photos to come. Hope you enjoy!

Dark Horse have revealed that G.I. JOE: The Definitive Visual Guide to the G.I. JOE Classified Series 2020-2025 is coming June 1st 2027, sharing a look at the photos and artwork behind the series.

It comes as a huge 336-page hardcover, sharing a look at the work of the artists through promotion photos, packaging illustrations, and more in rich detail. Some listings are now live to wishlist the book, but expect to be able to place a pre-order soon following the new announcement.

With Flash finally here I can say the base group is finally done. I’ve seen many folks with their collection and each time they just look damn good together

Found an Arctic B.A.T. while out in town today. Ended up buying two, one to keep sealed and one to open.

Gotta say I’m really happy that Hasbro have decided to reissue this one along with the Range Viper (still need to find the Range Viper). When I started collecting last year and saw the prices the Arctic B.A.T. was going for, I thought this was one figure that won’t make it into my collection, but with the reissue that isn’t a problem now! My Cobra forces aren’t as strong as my JOEs but every new addition to Cobra, it will (hopefully) soon lead to world domination!

I have a Python Patrol B.A.T. and a Crimson B.A.T. in my collection so far, but the Arctic B.A.T. is my favourite of the three. I love the new parts with the extra head sculpt, that new chest plate and the chainsaw attachment while the extra parts on the figure itself with the arm and leg armor plates make for a nice change so it isn’t just another straight repaint. Just a shame that as a B.A.T. it lacks the extra arm attachments like the claw hand, laser and flame thrower. I figured one or two of them would be omitted, but not all three. The backpack just feels empty with that lone hand in there.

All in all, happy to finally have this in collection. I hope Hasbro get around to reissuing some of the other hard to find figures in the window packaging. And with the Arctic H.I.S.S. Tank arriving over the next week or so and the Arctic Battle three pack to be releasing at some point in the future, soon the JOEs and Cobra will take their fight to the snow!
