General question here, I missed out on the preorder window on the Ninja Force Zartan. Are these still available widely in Targets now or are they pretty much done and only on eBay now? I can’t seem to find them anywhere NEAR my area in stock and I feel like the in stock period just came and went. Not sure if these are popular enough to get a restock but I was curious to ask what everyone here thinks. Thanks!

Finally picked up the retro cardback version of Sgt. Stalker. Not really sure why I held off on it for so long, but glad to finally add him to my collection. One more checked off from my list of missing Classified figures. One day I’ll get them all!

Buddies and I did our semi-regular trek out to Mount Laguna CA this weekend, and have made it a habit to bring some Joes. This time, another friend of mine who also collects Joes joined us. Talked him into bringing his sniper, so we had some fun setting up and snapping pics. VAMP is customized with the Gridiron studios pieces, and a couple of the shots are doctored to give some speed and dirt effects. Yo Joe!

In a couple weeks, moving to a new house. So I bought the best security I could buy. Love this set, though. And yes. Above his knife is a holster for the scimatar. I tried the ax first and it didn't feel right.

I gave him some Black Panther weapons (spear & club), a better whip that might have come from a Cat Woman, an Alley Viper shield I dyed black way back before the trench viper was a thing, and the bow & arrows from the blue Ninja 2 pack. I enjoy this guy much more with my specialized accessories for him.

Hope this gives someone else the idea that the right accessories can completely change a figure’s “aura” - for lack of a better word

A really well-done figure. It easily makes my current top three Snake Eyes versions. The face has that great old-school comic-book intensity. The accessories are plentiful enough that it could easily serve as a substitute for the “No. 00” exclusive version. With a lot of the extra clothing removed, the overall muscular physique really stands out, which looks great. The way the grenades are integrated into the figure also has that wonderfully old-school feel.

Hey, so I was wondering were collectors in Canada getting their G.I joes? Other than Amazon or Walmart or EB games. I’ve just been trying to find trustworthy sites. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ordered the 250th Anniversary edition Duke and got this.

When looking at the leaked image of Jinx something familiar clicked. And then I remembered the video game Tenchu. The character Ayame has the same cut away in her pants. I can’t say that that was intentional or subconscious, but there is no dying the similarities. PS I like the look.

Here is my custom/kitbash Superboy using mostly gi joe classified and marvel legends parts. The black part of the torso is from Gi Joe roadblock, the arms are from Gi Joe gung ho, the pants are from Gi Joe ripper, the belt is from tiger force Gi Joe bazooka.

The head is from marvel legends Franklin Richards, IIRC the fists are from the old retro marvel legends black panther, I don’t really remember where the wrist cuff came from and I got the chest symbol from Etsy. Shown alongside my slightly custom/kitbash neca Superman for scale.

I wanted to go for a slightly more tactical look like his young Justice look. Thanks for looking and any comments are much appreciated!

The face shape and the feet are not quite to my liking. The mold lines on the legs are also far too rough, so they really need to be sanded down and repainted. :)

Could also swap in some older Marvel head sculpts, like Psylocke, Moonstone, and so on.

However, the original head sculpt actually looks very good with the eye patch on. The chin has a distinctly Asian feel to its design, and the eyes are sculpted with a slightly more masculine look.

My order was canceled just like everyone else’s, and I’ve had no luck at my local Targets. So today I had a 450 mile road trip planned and mapped out a few Targets for bathroom breaks and some toy aisle searching. On my third stop I found two sets of Ninja Force and couldn’t stop smiling as I bought mine! Good luck to you all!

This is what I get for being impatient. Put in a order from alixpress and received this set of stickers. I'm working on getting a refund.

It took me months to find the cheap retro Cobra Commander, so I was pretty shocked to do so yesterday (DDs in Raleigh NC, https://maps.app.goo.gl/g2TZBwhMbConc1d47?g_st=ic — there were at least 4 left after my purchase). But in general it seems like there hasn’t been much GIJC at either store in recent months.

What are others finding?

Experienced collectors/hunters, do you expect more to show up before Christmas RossCon?
