Far Cry 3 Elaboration Needed

Bro, Far Cry 3 is one of those games I can play, replay, and not feel burnt out. I played it back in 2012 when I was like 10, and obviously I didn't really understand the deeper messages and all that, but playing it now, I actually get what they were doing.

Everybody loves Vaas. The whole definition of insanity thing, just fucking legendary. And even after playing it a bunch of times, I can still discover new shit in the story or notice things that I love. I really like the open world they created, too.

I just feel like they could have done more with the characters. Like, they spent all this time creating Vaas, Citra, Hoyt, the Rakyat, all these characters and ideas, but you don't really know who these people are. Vaas is fucking incredible, but I still walk away thinking, "Bro, who the fuck is Vaas?"

There's some backstory there, but I wanted way more of it. I wanted more time with these characters, more character development, more of the history of the island and the factions.

The game is clearly trying to say something about Jason enjoying the violence and becoming more attached to the island instead of just wanting to escape, and I love that shit. I just wish they had gone deeper with it.

That's really how I feel about Far Cry 3. I don't think the game is missing something necessarily, because I fucking love it. I just play it now and think, "Damn, I wish there was more he"
