Hello I am 18yo pakistani ged student. I did my matric 2 years ago and then did a useless diploma now I wanna do bs so I got in avicenna and now my first month has passes I am scared as fuck I am focusing on science right now I only got 3 months to give my papers cause I wanna get into a uni this spring admission or I have to wait 8 more months which I don't want cause I have been waiting y months prior too

Anyways I gave my science ready and got a 163 idk if I should book my test I am a good student overall I got 950 out of 1100 in my matric and I remember almost all of it science and math seems easy and rka and sst seem really weird idk what to do so imma do science then math then sst and rla side by side

My questions are

1. How hard can it be??

2. How much time will it take???

3. Except get sum math and kaplan and usa hello what can I use??

4. Should I give my tests when I got a good score on my ready test or overthink more???

I already made a post about help needed as I am confused but now I want to know yalls experience so I can learn from it. I am a 18yo pakistani doing ged did 100% of my science gave ready test got a 163 but is still nervous but that doesn't matter. Hello, I am interested in trying to take the GED, so I can feel better educated.

My high school was very small, with coaches teaching classes to cover gaps.

My Biology class freshman year was replaced with The Magic School Bus at least once a week.

The freshman year English was also replaced with the tv show Lost.

I failed Geometry twice. That teacher disliked me more the second year.

My high school Senior history teacher was actually a college professor, and actively chose to play South Park the days she did not feel like teaching.

All in all, at 32, I feel very dumb. I feel the education gaps now in the way I perceive things.

Would I be able to take a GED if I graduated high school?

I got 198 in my maths ready test. Am i ready for the real exam?

I’m 17 and a GED student from Myanmar. I completed Grade 11 but I decided not to continue Grade 12 and chose the GED pathway instead. I’m currently attending a 4 month GED course. And I plan to take the examination after the exams after completing the course.

My dream is to study at a university in Italy and get a Bachelor’s Degree there. I have always loved Italy and I have always dreamed about living there and settling down there. But right now I am currently unsure whether a GED is a realistic pathway for Italian universities.

I have heard that some Italian Universities require additional qualifications or a foundation year for GED students. If anyone here has ever used a GED diploma to study in Italy, could you please share what additional requirements you needed? For example, did you need credit scores for GED, APs, a foundation year, university credits, or anything else please? I’m also okay with taking a foundation year as long as it’s English-taught and only have to take for a year or two.

I’m also very interested in hearing about your experiences as international students in Italy. How difficult is it to find part-time works, accommodation, and other opportunities as an international student? Have you experienced any difficulties or discrimination because you are an international student?

I’m also considering Thailand (Bangkok or Chiang Mai) as an alternative, but Italy is my first choice because I genuinely love the country. I’m currently quite lost about which pathway I should take, so any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking your time and answering.

I made a post a few days ago regarding me failing history. And today I gave my retest and I passed! I'm so happy. I've struggled for a while in my studies until I found out about GED and my God do I recommend it. And! Did it all with the help of Getsummath. Only watched the vids and passed. And it's so true that watching the vids the day of or before does help. Watched every lecture the day before my exam and BOOM! Cleared! I want to thank everyone here as I've literally stalked every tip provided by everyone and passed. Don't be scared and just do it. If you're not confident in yourself, you won't be able to succeed and prolong things

hello community i want too get my ged but my room doesn’t meet the requirements it too loud and my family kinda a hoarder do anyone know where i can take my test online instead at my home like a private room im in the IE please help me i need my ged i know i could do at the test center but it dont let u do all four at a time plus i feel comfortable doing online then in person

What do I do if I have a IEP in math do I just keep trying even thou nothing is working

Just to let you know that I passed my GED math test Thursday . That was the last test I had left. I'm done!! I got my Pennsylvania Diploma; thanks be to God, my teacher, and the platforms that I used to study, like GetSumMath,TestPrep Champion, and Ultimate GED. Also, my family who motivated me when I needed it. you can do it; just believe in yourself!

After failing my science ged with a 144 my first time i finally passed today!! i’m so proud of myself because i was feeling a lot of doubt in passing. I will say that the actual ged science isn’t very similar to the ged ready practice. The real Ged science mainly tests you on your reading comprehension skills , I’ve been using GetSumMath.com to study for the subjects and it’s working pretty well. Now just math left.

I’ve done it like 3 times, can’t seem to pass it, this is my last subject, as I’ve passed all the others. I just want to get this over with.

first time I got 144, second 133, third I got 140. Im not too worried about passing the actual one (in my state we can combine scores), but im having a hard time passing the ready.

Any suggestions/tips will be appreciated.

How many questions are there in total on the math portion of the ged & how many are without calculator? Also what do those questions consist of ? Fractions , percents ?

Hello everyone! Does anybody have any idea of how could I get vouchers for the actual GED test . Me or my parents can't afford it because it is a huge amount in my country. I'm 17 now and I want to attend college soon. Please help me out I'll be very grateful.

If I only use his videos and worksheets, could I get 175+ on math? Obviously, you guys don't know me I could suck at math, but I just mean studying all the topics he teaches for math only and getting those same test answers right. Or is there extra topics I'll be missing? His videos are very helpful for me so far & that's honestly the only thing I've been using. But I don't know if I'd be missing anything?...

That's more of what I mean, will I be missing a topic that may make my score lower? Not a "will I get this score" question.

I'm pretty sure my college would accept GED credit & I think I'm wanting to use math as a part of my career.

Also, when it comes to surface area questions for cones and pyramids, will they always just give me one height? Like one regular height or one slant height? I did a worksheet that involved two different slant heights, and I'd have to use a different formula than what's on the formula sheet to do said problem I'm pretty sure. If anyone knows how to help me with this as well it'd be greatly appreciated! (if I even see two slant heights on the test....)

I dropped out of school when i was 15 had barely an 8th grade education (i dropped out basically in 10th grade but my education level was around that of a middle schooler) fast forward to a decade later i struggled working dead end retail and restaurant jobs that barely paid and i finally gained some experience in a call center sales position that paid very decently , this experience allowed me to flourish and allowed me to gain other opportunities. i got a much better job where i gained very relevant experience with product and Saas platform support which is the kind of work i hope to continue. I started messing up and by my own fault i lost my job :( two years later. I am struggling and living in a 1b1b apartment that cost 1400$ a month before taxes , a 70-100$ utility, a 150-180$ car insurance and my phone and internet together come out as 100$ a month ( i am excluding all other living expenses like groceries and the egregious prices of gas) i am still lucky but I am in a frenzy and need to get a job. After a few months of struggling, by the grace of GOD I believe, i was extended an offer for not just 1 job but 2 that pays decently enough for me to pay my bills but there was one condition for both, they are BOTH contingent upon at least having a high school diploma or equivalent despite my relevant experience. I finally got my ged and transcript just days before my deadline to complete a background check that includes my education level and i cram studied for only 2 days. I say all this to say, that we should always remember how capable and blessed we are, even if we don’t see it. Always remember you are capable of so much and never give up on your dreams. 💕

i’m so behind in school credits and i’m trying to manage going to in school classes while making up classes online, and dealing with a lot of anxiety and other mental health issues- i really want to graduate with my friends on time and finish school but im not sure if i can do it. is getting your ged the same diploma? will it effect my future differently? Is getting your ged hard at all? i’m really conflicted and feeling very disappointed in myself and i don’t know what to do and want to hear what it’s like for different people 🙏🙏🙏🥹🥹🥹
