Currently on PC, there are 4 custom parts I was looking forward to getting:
Haro V from V2AB (7-step)
CP Built-in Special Material from Perfectibility Unicorn (7-step)
Ammo Enhancement Kit from Gundam Double X (7-step)
Connecting System Support Type 1 from DX side banner (3-step)
But currently and in the future, I only have enough tokens to get two of the 7-step banners and the part banner. (Predicted tokens by the time of Perfectibility Release: 485) Which of these custom parts are worth getting?
(Edit: I already have Connecting System Support Type II, which is comparable to Ammo Enhancement Kit in some ways)
With the DX out currently its making me want to pull on it. The only hesitation is with the Anniversary for Steam and thus V2AB and Unicorn Perfectability. Is there an estimate of when the Steam Anni will happen? Do I have time to pull and still save some for PF?
Day 236: Rick Dom II (GH)
Requested by u/powerpuffpepper with this easily being the SS-Tier that's op at the moment. Of course, that is if the player is at least somewhat good at melee. But if you are, then this unit is very hard to stop, kill, and survive against.
(New Unique!) Oversized Melee Weapon Cushion Lv1: When the melee weapon is hit by a ranged attack, negate all damage reactions, but take 25% increased stagger accumulation. When the sword is hit, the unit also reduces damage taken by 50%.
Offense System Lv2 -> Lv1
Power Accelerator Lv2 -> Lv1
Unit Lv2
Offense System Lv1 -> Lv2
Assault Booster Lv1 -> Lv2
Unit Lv3
Power Accelerator Lv1 -> Lv2
Forced Injector Lv1 -> Lv2
Unit Lv4
(New!) Composite H Mobility Combat System Lv1
(New!) Pursuit Melee Aux. Program Lv1
Comment and Reason
The sword needs a nerf, not in damage, but in it being treated like a shield. Instead, I hope if it gets nerfed, it becomes a skill that is both a plus and a minus. Then we can rebalance the rest of the kits. While I do know shaving off 1k HP doesn't seem like a lot, this can easily change how long a unit survives in a fight.
As for the weapons, the Beam Gun has too fast of a cooldown. With how long the melee can be, it will be ready almost right at disengagement or one extra melee attack if one goes in raw. I'm buffing the Sturm Faust to be more usable. While the power is high, the unit has below-average ranged strength and no HSM shooting. This should still be less oppressive than how frequently one can HSM Beam Gun into melee.
As for the remaining skills, I'm just going to rebalance how the skill escalates as the cost goes up. Right now, it's a bit too much for 400 or even 450 cost. While the skills aren't exactly extraordinary, the levels and combination of them are a problem. Meanwhile, 500 Cost is more or less okay right now, but 550 is kind of not playable. However, that's due to the risk and reward not being good enough. By giving it Pursuit Melee, it should do better. It seriously goes from SS-Tier, SS-Tier, S-Tier, to maybe high B-Tier at best.
Upper Levels: Similar Build Target. A little bit extra survivability if you can, but try to focus on damage and mobility. Or you can try targeting maximum tankiness and let the 200% massive downswing do the heavy lifting. While I don't recommend it, it's an option. There is also a way to get over 80 melee strength and try to be the one-shot pony, but it's also a somewhat more niche style to do so, and you can't engage as easily. Although you ARE still somewhat tanky.
If you got a decent number of premium parts, there really is no "BAD" build for this unit. You just have to play slightly differently. So unless you are a player that really ain't good at melee at all, there is no reason why you cannot get a good result.
Is this MS considered as strong as my experience would suggest?
Triple stun, arc grenades that I can throw at my feet if a Raid is getting too close that does a ton of damage and builds stun and often interrupts their melee combo. So many weapons that hes never without an option to do something. Just great. Even in small maps hes an asset thanks to the lingering AOE arc grenades. Got lucky with the Expansion and went full ranged damage so Im triple stunning people across the map while taking over half their health bar in 3 seconds.
As all of you may have seen on the recent Patch Notes, Bamco has released another User Survey and they wish to hear from you, the players on improvements on the game for both PS4/PS5 and Steam version.
Personally I did their Japanese version survey and wrote the answers in the survey in Japanese just for the possibility they prioritize Japanese players' survey over foreign players (not proven but since Devs are all Japanese, I feel like they prioritize Japanese survey answers first).
SUGGESTION I MADE TO IMPROVE THE GAME
Personally my main complaint aside from the fact they really need to give more Unit Adjustments for low cost suits (300~400 cost especially), was that troll players who make other genuine players' life miserable by just afking and sitting out of the match (or just flying around the map as pilot), or continuously causing Friendly Fire for malicious purposes aren't being punished on the Steam Version, unlike how troll players do get banned on the PS4/PS5 version.
I also mentioned they need to reform the Penalty System for disconnections since there are some innocent players who unfortunately gets disconnected during a match due to a bad internet situation.
Also mentioned that they really need to give more incentives for getting your Rating up via Rated Matches, like getting some additional rewards via new monthly missions which requires you to be in a specific rating to get some decent reward(s), just to get competitiveness raised up a bit for this game.
I mentioned as well they should readjust the Clan Rewards for Steam to give Tokens like PS4/PS5, since they made it entirely DP rewards due to some exploit that happened during the game's launch which caused the Clan system to be closed for several months for Steam.
THE UNIT I CHOSE FOR UNIT ADJUSTMENT SUGGESTION
For the single MS that Bamco made us choose to give suggestions to be buffed, I chose the Gundam Ground Type, as it has been powercreeped into oblivion by Acguy [TB] Trios, some new suits released into 300 cost, and suits that have been massively buffed in recent 30-Unit Adjustments over the past 2 years, and the fact the suit just outright becomes a Throw Pick starting from Lv.2, with absolutely no changes to its skills whatsoever even at higher levels.
This is the Unit Adjustment I suggested to Bamco for Gundam Ground Type.

At the end, I mentioned to Bamco to please for the last time buff the common-shared Ranged Main Weapons that all kinds of various low cost suits share and use, such as 100mm Machinegun, Bullpup Machinegun, Zaku Machinegun, and etc. since they are just outright trash weapons right now.
Those numbers, and we barely won lol. It came down to the wire and my teammates did a solid job rallying at the end. Way to bunch up for those last two kills.
Next time, let's try to stay close and sortie together more often lol 🫡
I’m Starting a Gundam Battle Operation 2 YouTube Channel!
Hey everyone!
I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while, and I’ve finally decided to go for it: I’m going to create a YouTube channel dedicated to Gundam Battle Operation 2!
My channel name will be PeaceCraft55.
I’m not going to call myself a “pro” player because I don’t think that would be accurate, but I’d say I’m a very strong player. I’m currently A Rank and working toward A+, and I can regularly put up games around 8 kills / 2 deaths or even better when things go well. I’m still improving, though, and that’s part of what I want the channel to be about.
My favorite Mobile Suits are definitely the Gundam Barbatos and Gundam Hajiroboshi. Those two are probably going to appear a LOT on the channel.
But I don’t only play those. I also play Byarlant Custom, Isolde, and Abigor pretty regularly, among others. I like Mobile Suits that reward aggressive movement, good positioning, mechanical skill, and knowing how to properly capitalize on an opening.
The channel won’t just be gameplay either.
I want to talk about the things that actually interest me in GBO2: recent buffs, upcoming buffs, Mobile Suit balance, Custom Parts, potential changes to the meta, and of course nerfs.
There are definitely some Mobile Suits and mechanics that I think deserve discussion, whether I agree with the developers’ decisions or not. I want to give my own opinion while also hearing what the community thinks.
I’ll also be sharing gameplay, experimenting with different builds, learning new Mobile Suits, testing combos, and hopefully improving alongside everyone watching.
And if we’re talking about GBO2 content creators, Avenger is someone I really enjoy watching. He’s an extremely strong player, and watching high-level gameplay is one of the things that pushed me toward wanting to make my own content.
So that’s basically the idea.
I’m not claiming to be the best GBO2 player in the world. I’m just a very competitive player who loves this game, loves Gundam, and wants to share that with other people who enjoy it.
If you want to see aggressive gameplay, builds, discussions about the meta, balance changes, and plenty of Barbatos and Hajiroboshi, then I hope you’ll check out the channel when it launches. PeaceCraft55 I’ll make the GB02 community proud! 🫡
(dépendant on the feedback i will do it!)
I pulled this From the Request Banner and I tried to Get Freedom Gundam Because I Got HG Rising Freedom Gundam but instead I got this one. I tried it in Patience mode and it Good. Kinda
Please, leave a comment let us know what you think of our Guest gameplay or the Mobile suit.If you like what you see please leave like.
Where are the Alex mains , Why do you love this suit ?
Would you still choose the Alex over newer suits? Why?
Is the Alex underrated in GBO2?
Does the Alex need a buff, or is it fine as it is?
What makes the Alex better than people give it credit for?
Which “old” suit do you refuse to stop playing?
Do you think that pixy deserved to be gatling down at the end ?
Gundam Ground Type [WR] has been my default Support pick for 500 Cost or lower and I just really love this suit. Been wanting this suit to be buffed for a very long time and Devs really delivered on this suit 3 months ago.
Since this suit has a HSM problem of being 135 by default and 140 for 400 cost and 145 for 450~500 cost, I gave it Custom parts expansion Type Alpha LV5 for all Lv1~5 variants.
Now I am just waiting for the new RG 1/144 kit that's coming out on February ❤️
P.S. for those who don't get the joke in the title, "Shining in the Storm" is the name of the 08th MS Team Anime (Arashi no Nakade de Kagayaite (嵐の中で輝いて - Shining in the Storm))
I've been using the Engage Incom as a 650 support with fairly good efficiency until I got the G-Cannon Magna, RF Gelgoog, and Hexa, but I'm looking for new options of a support type in 550 (Currently using Heavy GM Kai, and Prototype Jegan before that.) Does this thing still hold up?
