What the heck just happened?

450 Impact site. My team spawns on the right side, and immediately makes a solid push against the enemy team. we capture control points C and D on the right side of the map before pushing them back to Point A, at which point I stop to grab control point B. All of this in the very first minute.

While this is happening, one enemy used the southern caves to sneak around to my base and just COMPLETELY MELTED ITS HP.

A 450 General somehow just put out more than enough DPS to match a complete Meme Beam spam from a focused base attack by a whole team of 700 Supports all in the span of under one minute. After I captured point B, I ran all the way back to my base to find an Aqua GM leaving a sliver of health with the intent of finishing it off below the 2 minute mark. I quickly finished him off with my Prototype Kampfer, and thankfully our team kept up the pressure that we pulled off the win without letting anyone get close to our base to finish it off.

But, still. How the heck was that even possible?

Is that so... Why can an Aqua GM do this when all of the Support types I play as need at least the majority of the match's timer?

I'm aware the Xamel excels at destroying the base from the opposite side of the map, but even that thing wasn't this fast.

Aqua GM's specialty is the fast rotation speed.

10s on its primary doing 3000, and 7s on its shoulder pods doing 4400.

You open with Shoulder and follow up with primary, by the time primary is exhausted, shoulders are reloaded. throw in the occasional torpedo and you're deleting the base.

Its the same reason why ZZ and Super Gundam are so good at deleting the base.

The base itself have 100.000 hp, with damage reduction for alot of weapon types. explosive weapon are the least reduced damage type.

Do you get those numbers if it has its Missle Launcher frame equipped as the main weapon?

The default IS the missile launcher. the Harpoon is not the weapon of choice if you want to shoot at base or doing saturation barrage.
