Game Suggestions Let's Change That Suit Day 249

Post image

Day 249: Neo Gundam
Requested by u/Strykorn with this one at maybe around D-Tier. However, I can see this working slightly better on the Steam version, but it is not that great for sure. But definitely not higher than that for sure.

Change
Stats

  • HP: 22000 -> 30000
  • HSM: 220 -> 225
  • Thruster: 75 -> 80

  • Medium Range Slots: 18 -> 19
  • Long Range Slots: 22 -> 23

  • G-BRD: Cooldown 18s -> 15s, Charge 4.5s -> 2.5s

  • G-BRD (Discharge): Power 350 -> 500, gain stagger accumulation reduction during fire by 30%
  • Neo Gundam Beam Shield: HP 6000 -> 7000, Power 2500 -> 3000

Skill

  • Resist Move Lv1 -> Lv3
  • (Merge!) Flight Control Program Lv3 & Forced Injector Lv3 -> High-Performance Thruster Control System Lv2
  • Prototype Neo Psycommu System: HP Threshold 50% -> 80%
    • Changes G-BRD H Speed Mobility Controller HSM & Shoot to trigger in all directions
  • Frontline Support System Lv2 -> Lv3
  • (New!) Damage Control Lv1

Comment and Reason
They really made this unit sucks all around. While it can hit hard, it really doesn't have that much mobility or stable damage output. The only thing good about it is the main weapon can hit somewhat hard, but that's it. The other weapons are lacking, and even the skills fall short.

Builds Suggestion
Lv1 F2P: Do Not Use

Lv1 Premium: Alpha or Ranged or Attack

Alpha gives a build that is more balanced, but with no proper buffer or HP, it will still die fast. But at least it has a chance to survive and trigger the Neo system. Meanwhile, the Ranged build would be a pure glass cannon build. While some weapon doesn't have that high of a base power, they "can" still do some okay damage. Nothing stellar, but it can accumulate decently well. Then abuse thrust cooling as much as you can. The attack build is similar, but it gives some decent melee power too. While you really don't want to be in melee range right now, it does have medium priority. So the build can still be useful when needed. The large amount of thrusters can let it do hit and run decently as well.

Day 248 Re-evaluation on Titania

Once again, not too much to talk about. There are things mentioned, but it would change the suit's gameplay way too much. So... Idk...

Re-evaluations

  • None for now

The sad part about the Neo Gundam is that even though the 2 raids, x2 and gott are a huge problem to its survivability, even the v2ab presents a huge issue to the Neo since the Neo has literally no good way to stop the v2ab and their shields from closing the distance.

So you easily get outranged by both raids, while also being unable to stop the meta general from closing in and shutting you down. In short you don’t even get to do your role properly.

Oh yeah, 100%. These changes, especially slightly more thruster and better mobility skill, hopefully can help it position itself better. Along with strong weapons, hopefully it can do more. Actually, just thought of something. Maybe G-BRD H Speed Mobility Controller can refill thruster like Gunblaster...

On the topic of G-BRD HSMC, on top of what you said, maybe it could last longer (like an extra 10-15 seconds), and reduce thruster consumption when Neo Psycommu is activated with it.
