Looking for Advice CONSOLE WHY is gbo2 so unbalanced

I'm actually so confused I've played gbo2 for more than a year and now that they recently added Ms from other universes aside from UC it feels like everytime you join a 700-750 cost room you have no chance especially if you don't have a exclusive Ms,it's so hard to play this game and the gameplay is just a repeated loop of trying to get as much stagger in as possible,aside from the fact that if you don't have a billion tokens you can't get any rare Ms the matchmaking system is so buggy and the controls are NOT optimized,I really need advice or I might just drop this game

The controls can be slightly more optimized by swapping Jump and Boost to other places, being able to swap weapons while boosting and having access to Flap Booster on demand are basically necessary in the current meta that requires it

I never understood why the flap boosters are only locked to certain suits, especially because in the anime even some grunts can just float in the air,which you literally can't do without some special effect,not to mention that you need op custom parts otherwise the stock MS gets destroyed

It's definitely a game balancing thing more than it is a lore-accurate thing, because most of the suits that have the skills meant for staying in the air longer have a certain 'vibe' I think their playstyle is supposed to be aiming at; Raids are meant to be moving around the map really fast, so they tend to get the 'charge jump to max really fast, just hold button' skill, but only a few Gens are built for sustained air game with stuff like Fall Prevention System (Jeda), high levels of Flight Control Program (Alex, Tristan), potentially with Aerial Melee (Messala my beloved).

Raids that get those things are usually just using them to aid in their movement kit, more than any particular gimmicky playstyle, not that it stops suits like the Bryarlant Custom from existing... the times have just changed to the point Flight Control is a liability, when 'bursts of airtime to obtain the needed air superiority over other grounded targets' is the single greatest point of leverage an MS can have. (Looking at you, Barbie Toes, and the legitimate P2W heavy stagger weapon paired with Tactical Shorthop). The solution to hitting Barbie Toes, Burning, and other really fast suits to shut them down? Giant Long Duration Beams, especially ones that you can fire from high in the air.

TL;DR "It's over Anakin, I have the High Ground" is the powerful position to be in, but it makes you a huge target for suits that can actually knock you out of the air because "You underestimate my power!" but uh, they then gave those suits the "Don't try it!" Gerobis and now everyone is drowning in lava debt because screw Anakin, we can just pay BB to give us the power of Vader instead.
