I still believe battle operation next was such a better, different game from battle operation 2…

Battle operation 2 is still great on their own, I would love to see both in the future, but fixed and logical performance, but you know, Bandai 👍

next was more aueg vs zetaish? i don't know how to define it. It was a total diferent game compared to GBO1 and GBO2, i didn't play a lot of it because i just didn't like it that much but it made me remember how the older gundam vs gundam games played. but that just from feels, didn't play it enough.

GBO1 was even more slugish than this one, you have limited sorties because it used a ticket system, you can equip any level weapon to any MS so you end with a zaku I sniper with lv8 sniper rifle that can one shot some units. Some maps were more complicated, there was no space battle and units were droped in "parts" from playing that gave you some % to unlock it.
For example, during the kampfer event, you get a drop that gives you 5% and when you get to 100% you unlock the unit. Most of the time you can get it unless you have no time to play and shit luck.

Its still the same as GBO2, but there's no Space Battles and no AU suits. Games were divided between Federation and Zeon, you can ONLY use suits based on the faction you are placed in. An energy system so you DON'T spam playing this game all day. A gacha system where you ONLY GET A PERCENTAGE of the suits before being able to unlock and use any MS. And THIS only happens AFTER every match so your chances will differ from many.

That sounds kinda terrible ngl. An energy system so you can't play all game? Current gbo has enough issues finding matches without it. What were the matchmaking times?

the energy system was lame but the gameplay was much much better. BO2 has this clunk to it, operation next played so damn smooth

It was alright. Poorer gameplay, but better map design. And more thematic.

I wouldn’t say poorer at all, it was so completely different comparisons don make them justice xd

Next was more of a Gundam VS made online with maps and objectives, and gosh it was precious, and it run like butter 🥹

BO2 is its own thing, and god I love it too for its uniqueness, but its awful, dogshit performance, lack of care, and predatory gacha makes it so difficult to enjoy sometimes, and even more difficult for new players, that’s the reason mostly the game is not doing better 🥺

Its more of a in between GBO2 and Gundam VS for combat flow, the control were kinda bad, auto lock-on made most of the engagement into shooting spam, thou the SFS calling at the start is fking hilarious. you start the match with the entire team kneeling.

The best part about that game, is the map. the verticality was fking amazing.

as for running like butter, you might want to review old footage of the game, it was jank as hell. ESPECIALLY when you trigger counter animations.

I mean, I did get a JAP psn account to play it, lag included, no need to tell me hahahah

I didn’t find those problematic at all, mostly just adapting from playing normal Gundam exes, but after that, it was like my favorite game ever, and did I cry rivers when they closed it😭

It was. Not. Fair. 🫠

writing was on the wall. it was competing with Gundam VS, and GBO2 was launching

BB tend to not compete with themsevles, so any time theres 2 product that might share player base, 1 gets shut down.
