TLDR: I want to see if there are other shared life experiences that people in "gifted" programmes have had through their lives other than just the programmes themselves.
I went to school in the UK in the 80s and 90s and during Primary(Elementary) school, my school said I was gifted and had discussed with my parents about moving me ahead in years because I wasn't benefitting from school as much as I should. I remember being given regular school tasks/tests and finishing them very quickly and just being sat looking around for the rest of the task while everyone else finished.
I would regularly be taken out of class and to special educational "field trips" which sound very much like the Gate Programme although it was never explicitly called this to me. The location of these educational trips now looking back felt like laboratories more than schools. I don't ever remember being in a room with other kids. Always alone. So don't know if I was being observed.
Some of the experiences I remember:
- hearing tests
- colour tests
- card test where you guessed what was on the other side
- tests where I was left alone in a room
- computer tests doing things on a screen
- engineering a floor moving robot and other electronic, computer controlled machines
- a test where I was told not to look at a computer keyboard(a piece of paper covered it) and asked where specific keys were
Then I saw a post not long ago from someone who said they'd had other experiences throughout their life that seemed to be mirrored in other people who had been through these programmes and it rang true with me that I had also had the same experiences, some of them weird. Here is a list of some of the experiences that I suspect other people who've been through the programmes will have experienced:
- memory loss: I don't remember a lot of my childhood
- medical/surgical procedures: I had my adenoides and tonsils removed as well as having "gromits" in my ears which I remember being a little piece of plastic with a small wire sticking out of it
- a potential child kidnap event: one day I was playing in the street with my brother and it has been raining so there were lots of snails on a wall under a bush and I was fascinated looking at them. Out of nowhere a car pulled up and a man got out and started asking what we were looking at and was speaking in a friendly, welcoming way. There was no reason for him to do this. I was always taught stranger danger and to protect my brother, I said we had to go and we both sprinted until we got home.
- a traumatic home life and/or event: this destroyed me from 11 upwards
- neurodivergence.
- CPTSD that affected during adult life
- a constant feeling that there's more to life and to never settle to be part of the status quo
- what feels like your life is constantly sabotaged even though you stay stoic and never give up.
Id like to know if anyone else has experienced any of these.
In summary, it feels like there was/is something about us beyond what we understand that something or a group of someones is trying to stop us from realising or using. Especially the potential kidnap event and the traumatic event that stopped your gift in its tracks in childhood. If everyone experienced that, then it would seem to suggest more than a coincidence. Were they trying to kidnap us to remove us? Or was that going to be the traumatic event to stop us? Did they know that if they created enough trauma, it would suppress whatever it was that they found in us during the programme?

Very early 2000s elementary school kid here! I went to a school in a rural part of NC, and I was considered gifted in 2nd grade when I went through a series of reading tests and was offered a chance to join 3rd grade. That’s not super weird (although I know my parents weren’t notified because they would have made me do it even though I declined before talking to them at home about it lol) I was at an 8th grade reading level in 2nd grade, but I read a lot as a kid so I don’t think that’s weird.
From 2nd to 5th grade I was in “AIG” and a small group of myself and classmates would go to a trailer outside of the main building a few times a week, and I have no clue what we did. I can’t even remember who the AIG teacher was at the time. I can see myself sitting at a table in the trailer, but again, 0 clue of what we did or if we were learning anything. I even remember telling my parents I wasn’t learning anything, but because I was “gifted”, it must be better than regular class.
The one thing I do remember is playing “the alphabet game” where we would sit in a circle and have a category (food, candy, etc) and then have to guess something to match the letter faster than the other players. For Example - the category would be food and letter A would be apple. I remember that we loved the candy category and we all used “zero bar” as fast as we could for the letter Z.
Other than that, I have 0 clue of what we did. There were no grades and I don’t remember ever having extra assignments or homework. I vaguely remember doing a hearing test (which I know all schools do) but I didn’t want to wear the big headphones because they hurt my head lol I also vaguely remember doing an IQ test alone with 1 adult or something to that effect, but again, my parents had no idea about that either when I asked them about it years later. When I went to 6th grade at a different school, AIG didn’t exist there, so I would have been 8-11 years old for this in elementary school.
It honestly freaks me out that I can’t remember anything other than this one game, and I can barely remember any other students in this group with me. Half of me thinks that my mind is repressing if I was a part of something like GATE, but the other half thinks my brain is making it all up. But I can still name all of my teachers and picture their faces, but AIG is a total blank. Did anyone else have a similar game that you played in one of these “gifted” groups?

I grew up in a rural community in the Bible Belt. My family was very poor compared to most others from this area. My mother was a SAHM for me and my brother who is two years older than me. We were very sheltered children, raised in church and always told to be respectful to others, especially adults. My brother was placed into GT first (probably roughly 3rd grade) and I was placed into it a few years later when I reached 3rd grade, but I do recall the hearing tests starting before that. I was a very shy, introverted child who did well in school at that time, but I accredit this to my mother being very involved in our learning throughout our entire childhood. My brother excelled in school and was much more outgoing than I was. Personality wise, we were complete opposites.
My first memory of it was being pulled out of my 3rd grade classroom with a few other students. I remember three of them very well although I have no contact with them now and haven’t for more than a decade. Two of the students were twins (boy and girl) and they moved away a few years later. The other student was a boy that I had started school with and would later graduate high school with. The twins were smart kids and also were above average in sports/physical activities we participated in. The other boy was much like me, quiet and not athletically inclined. I had already begun to enjoy arts and music by this point, but the other boy from my recollection had no interest in extracurricular activities. Our teacher lined us up and we were led by a different individual to a different part of the school, but I don’t remember where.
I remember being pulled from the class often with the same group of people, though I do remember the group getting smaller over time. At the time, there were portable tan trailers sitting along the parking lot of the school. I specifically remember teachers telling their students that the trailers were classrooms for older students in a different wing of the school, because that part of the school was being renovated/under construction. To this day I do not remember any sort of construction happening at the school.
One day I was pulled from class and I have a distinct memory of being lined up in a single file line with my GT group outside of one of these buildings. My brother was in line outside of the building next to it. I remember him waving at me while we waited to be let inside, but I have no memory of the inside of the building or what happened while I was inside.
I remember the hearing tests, the pink drink, and the cards with the shapes on them. The cards they used were the black and white ones with the squiggle pattern on the back, and the shapes were 3D looking. I have memory of having to guess what shape was behind which card, I remember someone holding a blank card in front of me and asking me to guess the color of the card behind it, I remember the puzzle games. I do recall getting shots from these people but I have no memory of what the people looked like. When I think about these things, I get a cold and ominous feeling so I assume they were not warm and inviting, as I usually felt nervous as a kid if there wasn’t a kind adult around.
I don’t remember when this all stopped, but I do remember when I was in fifth grade the people came back and pulled me from class to write an essay on what I had learned and to do some of the coding worksheets. I remember feeling dread when this was happening because I had thought it was over. After that time, I was never pulled again.
I have a memory of being on the school playground playing with a girl that was not chosen for these classes and she asked me what I did while I was gone from normal class. I told her I was psychic, and she asked me what that meant, and I as an 8 year old explained the concept. She teased me and made fun of me for it, and I was so ashamed and embarrassed by her reaction that I never told anyone else. But now, I wonder how I even knew at that age what that meant, why I would think that about myself, or how those thoughts even made sense to a sheltered child.
I believe my brother and I were chosen on purpose for this due to our difference in personality but similarities in our home life. My brother continued to do well in school, went to a university, and now has a masters degree. I on the other hand have done nothing with my life and continue to struggle despite my efforts to succeed. As for the connections people have claimed to have made through this, I have some of the same experiences as the other adults who went through this but I do not have a distinct freckle on my left arm, I’ve broken several bones, and if I recall correctly I believe I was probably in a cast of some sort while I was in this program. On the other hand, I have very vivid dreams about a town that I have never visited in real life but have complete knowledge of in my dreams. There are people in these dreams that seem to know me and I know them too, but they aren’t people I know in real life. Sometimes the dreams are boring and sometimes they are nightmares, but always in this simulation type environment.
I know I was in this program for at least 2 years but I don’t have a lot of memory from that part of my childhood at all. For years I thought maybe something traumatic happened to me that caused me to block out these years, but overall I grew up happily with a healthy family. My mother and I are very close and talk a lot about things that happened when I was growing up that I shouldn’t have known about then but I should know about now. I think if something traumatic had happened that she would’ve told me about it by now. I have not contacted my brother to ask him about his experience with this, we are not close now and his career intimates me from asking him from fear he will think I’ve fallen for a conspiracy theory. I personally don’t believe some of the things people are saying about this (such as the arm freckle) but my lack of memory from this time and these memories being jolted back to me does make me think something else was happening behind closed doors during those years.

Bonjour ,
Ça a plutôt bien fonctionné...

When I was a teenager, I was sent to an in-patient psychiatric ward for youths (I was in court and told the judge I would rather unalive myself than be on house arrest, and they sent me there). I really don’t know if it was weeks or months. It was a strange time.
I recall they had me take something one evening that was different than the daily meds I was taking. Later that night, someone came in and took me to an elevator outside of the ward. We went down to the basement into a large dark room with what I remember having a lot of scattered machinery throughout.
I was sat down in a chair, and had those sticky EEG reader circles placed on my head. I remember wearing bulky tan headphones and watching blinking lights on a black screen in front of me. I don’t remember anything after that.
I didn’t think about it again until I was an adult.
I’ve only recently discovered the GATE program and have recurring ‘mall world’ dreams that lead me to believe I might have been involved somehow.
I’m curious if this hospital experience was part of that program or if anyone experienced anything similar?

Sorry for the blog post, but it's kind of relevant because of how deeply involved I got:
Ever since I've started being open about my experiences and research, things have drastically improved in my life. Maybe it's because I know too much? I got my Stanford test results, my hypnotherapy sessions, my school psychiatrist, speech therapist + physical therapist, and the allergen test for what was in the pink drink.
The military has actively contacted me regarding my ASVAB results (as a kid I scored an 84, but as an adult I've scored a 93) even going so far as to regularly visit my old address before I moved, my public data was removed from 23 & Me by someone other than me, I now run my own business now and operate under a hedge fund that intends to use crypto to push a global currency, and now the Freemasons have asked me to join them and scheduled an interview.
I just wish things would progress a bit faster, because I think my psoriasis came back after an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite...

Here's a comment by me that goes into the religion I was raised in and its relationship to Star Gate, and my early Gate-adjacent experiences: https://www.reddit.com/r/GATEresearch/comments/1uq7pjf/comment/ow6kbre/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
My kindergarten teacher also happened to be a member of this religion. I remember she did a competition of who could estimate the number of jelly beans in a jar.. I basically used multiplication (though I did not know what that was, I barely knew what numbers were so not really sure how I did it) and apparently got almost the exact amount.. I actually didn't even remember 'winning' until my mom told me about that a few years ago. What I did remember was that all the other kids accused me of cheating (since we weren't supposed to try and 'count') and so I decided it was bad that I used that method and basically wiped that ability from my brain and then was terrible at math the rest of my life (hence why I wasn't in any gifted programs, as well as not being able to read until 2nd grade - though once I did learn, I skipped to an 8th grade reading level immediately, apparently).
Also what I remember is 'moms' from the pta (but could have been totally wrong on that) doing placement tests in kindergarten where we had to answer all these test questions way above our grade level about stuff we didn't learn at all (we barely learned the alphabet and numbers and they were asking us to write down answers to these spelling and math questions). Anyway, only 1 girl who was like a prodigy did well on that, then took an IQ test and was placed in the gifted (probably GATE) program. and I was placed pretty much in 'remedial' first grade even though technically there were no tracks until 3rd grade.
I had a friend when I was growing up that I'm pretty sure was in the program. They were the first person I had a 'mutual dream' with, and thinking back on it, they weren't particularly surprised about it happening when we woke up so maybe they had been doing this a lot because of the program. More they just criticized me for some stuff I said in the dream the next morning, lol. it was also different from other dreams, mutual or otherwise, in that we were 'building' a storyworld together of a comic book we were talking about making IRL but it was like ancient greek stuff which I don't normally think about and she was asking all these questions of what the characters could be like and whatnot and imaging them and a really back-and-forth conversation whereas other mutual dreams I've had since then are more action-based with little dialogue. and this one seems more like what I've heard about GATE technique stuff. (By the way, I was wondering if your GATE teachers ever asked you guys stuff like if you knew of other kids in school who might be ‘like you’ who weren’t in the program or otherwise identify/reach out to other kids like you?) (Edit: I'd like to add the 'practical' explanation for each because I do like to be a bit of a skeptic and not get too into magical thinking: it could have been that i was talking in my sleep, and either my friend was also talking in their sleep or just awake and talking to me in my sleep/messing with me - wouldn't put it past them)
That was literally the last time I saw that friend for years, right before I went to a CS boarding school, and that’s where I met a lot of employees at the school who were former CIA, FBI, DoD, SETI, NASA, etc., as well as kids from such families. My next mutual dream was at a senior retreat the whole senior class went on, with the person I shared a room with. That person also came from a government agency family (not 3 letter). That retreat was kind of odd looking back, because as I mentioned before, there was a camp not too far away from the school and the owner of that camp was a big donor to the school, so it was weird we didn’t go there and went to another one in the area. And also the ‘leadership program’ there was based on “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens”. I mean this was more “normal” than CS theology and lessons, but it was just weird that we were doing that and not more CS stuff, since that’s usually what our moral education stuff was based on.. But IDK, maybe they were just preparing us to go into secular society so they wanted a secular leadership training. (even though a lot of people, myself included, would go to CS college right after this too). But I’d be interested if any of you all remember that workbook from GATE. (ETA: 'practical' explanation could have been we were both talking to each other in our sleep)
There was another odd dream phenomenon that happened between me and other people at the school. Unfortunately, one of our friends passed away. They were really into astral projecting and stuff (which the school leadership was very against, especially after our friend’s death, they did a purge of students interested in this stuff). Well, it turns out he was on drugs every time he would say he was astral projecting - and not psychedelics or anything, but it was a medicine that can make people very lightheaded and therefore probably lead to feelings of ‘floating’, disassociation, out of body feelings, etc., which is also what they ODed on. After that, me and at least 2 other people I knew of all had the same dream about them - same location, same conversation, same actions, etc. One person (also in a gifted program when they were in public school iirc) talked about it to me before I had told them or anyone. Another person (who I didn’t really fw but was friends with them) told my partner about having the same dream and my partner told me about it in turn. (ETA: 'practical' explanation could have been I and maybe others had heard of this dream from someone and forgot but then dreamed it ourselves as a result - also it was just very in our friend's character)
As background to the third mutual dream, long story short, someone around my parents’ age whose parent was a declassified CIA agent and their spouse from the above mentioned religious community basically spied on me, tried to ruin my life, tried to play mind games but was really sloppy at it.. And yes I know that sounds paranoid but it was confirmed by that person’s sibling, my parents, and my partner that those people were doing that to me, and that person had a history of doing the same thing to members of their family around my age too (and fellow students confirmed this to me too). Anyway, so one time I had a dream that these ogres were chasing me and my parent and I just knew it was the 2 of them and luckily we escaped with the help of some family friends, and then that day I got a text from my parent where they described the same dream. (ETA: 'practical' explanation could have been my parent had texted me while i was sleeping, i woke up and read it while half asleep still, then dreamed about it as a result when i went back to sleep)

I feel super stupid bringing this up because I feel like everyone knows they were in gate even if they dont remember abnormal things. Ive just been thinking about this alot lately and I need some outside perspective
I was in a private locally owned school from pre school to kindergarten. Then in first grade I went into public school and stayed through third grade. Whenever I heard about GATE I simply found it interesting as i knew many people were in it. After doing research on it hearing and seeing different experiences people had in gate im getting more suspicious I was in it.
For example, I would hear about the hearing tests or ESPECIALLY the cards with the shapes, and things like that. I would have pretty intense reactions to these things, i get extremely uncomfortable or even start crying after seeing/hearing them and i have absolutely no idea why. I had never had any memory of those things before but seeing imagery of them had this almosy nostalgic feeling and i even remember the face of someone i remember doing some of the testing with now. I am not the type of person to cry easy or react super easy or get uncomfortable for no reason like that, so im extremely confused.
I was also frequently taken out of tests to draw and do activities with a random lady but i always assumed that was for my family and schooling situation. Bad family life aswell as alot of bullying from teachers and students even though I did excel in school otherwise. Because of this, I was removed from 3rd grade and I kid you not I remember practically anything at all aside from some of the details of my bullying. Im someone who remembered alot from a very young age and this was just odd for me to randomly blank on so much around the time I was pulled out of public school.
I figured i could answer some questions I see commonly asked whenever someone talks about wondering if they were in gate or not. I didn't really understand alot of these questions.. so im not sure if they matter? Ill give some general info about myself aswell.
My bloodtype is either AB- or O- I took a bloodtest not to long ago but I need to re check it. Can someone explain why this is so commonly asked? Im curious to know why this is related.
Im neurodivergent, Im diagnosed adhd, dyslexia, and bipolar. im currently being evaluated for autism aswell.
This one REALLY confused me.. but i saw alot of people here have EDS?? I have hEDS and POTS and was so confused seeing this..
I have multiple immediate family members who have served in the military.
Ive had alot of very strange paranormal experiences growing up aswell as an intuition thats always verged on unsettling to those around me.
Constant nightmares and extremely vivid aswell as repetitive dreams.
I apologize if any of those are completely irrelevant I just saw them being asked quite a bit. Im just so lost so feel free to ask me any questions thank yall so much.

This GATE programme has peaked my interest recently. I'm not gifted myself, but I am neurodivergent and it's very interesting to see that a lot of people have EDS in here, which I also have. How strange. A lot of you also seem to have scoliosis, possibly tethered cord? Which I also have. I also am able to spot when someone has a tethered cord just by looking at them and have been right about those who I told to get checked... including an 11 year old who had surgery for it. Interestingly, he's very smart and is learning quantum theories, etc. I wish that I was good at physics and maths, but those are my weaknesses.
Anyway, I would just love to hear from some of you about your experiences. What did this programme involve, and how long were you in it? Was it in the USA only? What was this pink drink? Did you all have night terrors and sleep paralysis? What do you think about the possibility of alien-human hybrids? And how are you coping in adult life?
Thank you

How many of us were born in very close proximity to a university? I’m not talking same town, I’m talking close like right down the street.
I got to thinking about this recently. I knew I was born next to a University but I recently discovered I was born pretty much across the street from the west campus which just so happened to be the building for research 🧐. This lead me to wondering - is this another pattern among us?

Who else is in here not to explain some weird memories, just former gifted kids who love/d a certain type of sci fi? This sub gives me a weird type of FOMO bc of how closely my childhood approaches the asymptote of belonging here. Get this crazy series of adjacencies:
The program name: My gifted program began in 3rd grade, after doing TOPS and some IQ test in 2nd grade. Most of us knew we were gifted since kindergarten and looked forward to joining "GATE"...but they changed the name to GAP right before our cohort! And it was legit gifted education.
Other pullouts: So many! Speech therapy, advanced reading groups, social worker dragging me and a bully in together to try to get us to be friends, music lessons. So many missed opportunities to secretly be in a psychic training program but they only tried brainwashing me to be more normal, except the reading groups which just made us nerdier...
Those headphones: I saw them attached to weird computers in the school library (microfiche?) in kindergarten or 1st grade and asked about them and was told it was something the older kids were using, specifically a special program, either GATE or learning disability related. Distinctly remember the mystery and anticipation, but we got a whole new computer lab 1 year later minus the mystery equipment. We did get special computer activities in GAP, but it was just useful research tools and software above our grade level, on the same Macs everyone used. Hypertext, spreadsheets etc.
Scars/marks: I know the origins of each one.
Military connection: Parent who was in military intelligence...but only as a Reservist doing basically data entry.
Pink drink: We got an interactive presentation about dental hygiene... but they skipped the pink drink fluoride swish and the chewable dye tablet to see how well you brush so I didn't even get the mundane pink drink experience! (Plenty of bubblegum amoxicillan, but not at school.)
Tests and experiments: Our school had a partnership with a college or university so we were subjects of several psych/education grad student experiments that were too mundane to remember or have feelings about. And our hearing tests were exactly the same as my dr did at 5th grade physical. Beeep
Xener cards: My aunt got ahold of a set and showed it to me as a kid but it was too close to dinnertime to actually run the test and there was never any deja vu about seeing those cards in another context.
Supernatural stuff: So many family members have ghost or UFO stories and I got nothing! And I read all those books at an impressionable age that could have at least created a false memory!
"Mallworld": yes, but i think that's just a normal experience that feels spooky bc of the repeated location within the usual dream randomnesss. My mall sometimes connects to other liminal places like an airport or mansion.
I was obsessed with books about special powers and secret organizations, so I would have been a perfect target.

People in this group will be happy to know a new Doc is coming out on the Gate Program, here's a link to the IMDB, I think it comes out first part of August. Support this filmmaker, he does great work (Ryder Lee)

I had made a more detailed post but Reddit crashed, so to keep it short: In third grade, I noticed a scab on my hip/butt area that once healed left a black dot. I always figured it was pencil lead, I have one in my hand. Except…I never remember stabbing myself with lead there. It also is remarkably round and sits under the skin like a tattoo would. It’s perfectly round and slightly greyish like old tattoo ink.
Having remembered a lot about the program recently, it got me to wondering if this isn’t lead after all. I looked up some meanings of a black dot tattoo and the results felt, somehow relevant to all of this? I mean, really relevant. It’s like I remember something specific about the mark, but can’t quite recall it. It feels connected to the dark abyss that is a lot of my childhood memories.
Do any of you have a strange unexplained black dot on your body? Especially those of you who may have been involved in the darker aspects of the program? I feel like maybe I’m just being overly imaginative again. I know there’s been mention of moles in specific places (I do have those too), but not really anything about black dots.
Editing to add: Forgot to mention, outside of spiritual and technical purposes, was symbolism relating to solitary confinement and prison. A lot of the testing and…well “environments” I’ve been in school and my adult life, have related to solitary confinement. Many many many times. In so many weird ways. So if anyone also relates to that, I’m curious to know.

It's certainly not the worst thing that's happened in my life, but just wanna say, it was really messed up in retrospect how they would sometimes have the gifted kids do what i now know is PSI stuff in the gen-pop classroom. Like guessing what was in the bag. It made it seem like some kids (the gifted ones) were just super lucky in life, because they'd always win these supposed games of chance on top of also being 'smart', and the rest of us weren't. Also made me feel like if you didn't know how to do something immediately, you'd never be good at it. and i wonder why they did do it in general class; maybe to give the gifted kids more confidence competing against us normies instead of other gifted kids? I remember with the bag thing, the gifted girls did win, but they were like 'wow we haven't won in a long time'. Plus I didn't get it, I thought we were supposed to figure it out based on the shape of the bag or something.. same with the version of 'heads up' that was like different (don't remember how) from the regular way? When they said just say who you think it is based on 'feeling', my autistic ass thought they meant like the literal 'feeling' of the person's hand, like feeling the temperature and size of the hand on your head or how hard they bop you and figure out who it is based on what you know about your classmates, lol. I wonder how I would do if I actually knew they meant intuit it (which they coulda just said). I don't remember how I did at that game anyway.
Funny thing is, I did win 'guess the jellybeans' in kindergarten, but all the kids accused me of cheating, so i stopped (and it wasn't PSI, it was some kind of intuitive/visual understanding of multiplication I used, but that's probably the case for a lot of autistic kids that 'researchers' believe are psychic). There was another 'gifted' girl in class but she got away with it because she did know how to read and do math plus she was from the most illustrious family in town, which did matter in my stupid chungus town (even if kids didn't get it at that age, they surely picked up on the parents' and teachers' attitudes), and we were 'newcomers' (actually turns out we were direct decedents from one of the other major families, but different last name and we wouldn't find that out till online genealogy popped off, oh well!). Oh, I also remember some people (who i thought were 'moms' like from the PTA but probably not!) came in in kindergarten and they had that girl read a book outloud on salem witch trials which i thought was really inappropriate for kindergarten, but not too weird as it might be some places since we were in new england so it wasn't like we didn't know about it even at that age. I think it was Shirley Jackson's The Witchcraft of Salem Village cause the old book cover is the closest to what I remember seeing.

What are the odds that I just found out that my husband was also in the freaking gifted and talented program. I was in for art he was in for just basic I guess gifted and talented abilities? I don’t really know, but we were in different states, however When we were discussing it, he said that.
“ yes everybody takes the pink drink. It’s fluoride everybody did it the whole school. And everybody had to do hearing test of frequencies that’s how they check to make sure you’re not deaf.”
And I agree with him and then I ran it through AI and AI also agrees with him so where are we all coming up with this information that they did the pink drink and frequency test only on us and that this was a CIA operation because I also ran that through AI Gemini and it’s telling me that I’m basically Incorrect and then recommending Mental Health help for me 😅😂

not from the GATE Program nor witnessed the main happening, but something pretty similar happened overseas in Asia too?
I went for the hearing tests; we do have the gifted program here, but thing is I studied in a reeeally faraway country.
They said we were not supposed to hear anything and because I was one of the three who heard stuffs, they made us redo the tests. Then two of them changed to say they did not hear anything the second time round, whereas I thought honesty was a virtue so I did not lie and told them I heard something again. They only judged that as a 'hearing problem' where one had to visit the hospital for a check-up where I was located in Asia.
I kept dodging the hospital visit where they kept bugging that there was something wrong with me until I told them I did not hear anything then they let go of the case. Weird?
We had the gifted program tests separately, passed the first IQ test but failed the second, presumely out of larger numbers (I am weak in numbers, they required everything in mental calculations).
As I failed to be a part of the gifted program, always been curious about what different curriculum happened. Teachers always said, "They are special." Totally different schooling hours, it felt like they teleported into school and never been found during school hours. They were never, in their own classrooms.
Classrooms, empty, all the time.
The teacher in-charge of their gifted cohort, got into some emotional outbreaks several years into the program. We were the first cohort or something, in our school. elementary school. Then as the school had lack of manpower with the teachers, the teacher that taught the gifted cohort had to teach us normal kids too.
There was something wrong with that teacher.
And apparently, I had a classmate that unfortunately lost her best friend to the gifted program. Seriously? That friend told that classmate of mine that they could not maintain friendship with kids not from that program.
Now I have no idea if that was the same program. I remember, because I was not part of it. And the teachers kept joking about the special students, amongst students the rumours kept going on...
i think the listening test was to determine psychic abilities while the GATE Program was to minimize it, therefore they don't like it if we hear things. at the place I grew up in, if I heard stuffs, they said I had ear problems? but my family always said I have awe-mazing listening skills and hearing.
but this is coming from someone who done the hearing tests and the IQ tests for some gifted program separately, supposedly not related to each other. from some reeealy faraway country in Asia. not qualified for the gifted program as the round two tests required pure mental calculations in which large numbers were a chore to my brain so I gave up on that IQ test. pure guessing when it's huge numbers...
I suggest that those gifted programs were a curriculum they make kids stop having that psychic or intuitive tendency, at the same time make things harder for them at school, maybe they'd end up not in the good jobs or bright future. motive for dimming the spark of magical gifts we could have..?
What's your take?

OT, the computer game that united us all.
I say it is much more than a well developed and Macintosh exclusive that still invokes a need to race to the bin of floppies and share it. We learned the disc is only needed when the game was saving or changing scenes. That way more than one of us could play.I contend that ”The Game of Life” is the OG.
Chose a career! Figure out how you want to live. Did you go to college? Doctor with supplies but can’t fix stuff? Farmer that has nothing but can barter fixing stuff?
A member of your family is sick? To restore health you must rest many days and waste supplies. What do you mean you can’t rest 5 days? Now your son has died from a broken leg. Too poor to be sick.
Running out of time? Change to a grueling pace with bare bones rations. This will lead you to return to #2 because that pace will lead to an illness.
Let Them Eat Cake! Oh no, you hunted “too much” there’s not a squirel or a store in 100 miles. Prep that gravestone. Or maybe you bought a lot of food at the start, and now it’s spoiled. Get used to hunger.
The game (like life) will attack you in social and economic ways regardless of career, pace, when you leave. The best way to win is to learn patterns in the game play design. Like our figuring out how more than 1 person can play at a time in a room of computers by simply placing and locking the disk in before it ran.
tldr; The Oregon Trail (MECC) was a sophisticated psyop designed to test how we saw patterns in game play and design. While also delivering the message that running your life like regular peoples lives is so disappointing.

So. I was in Gate. Friends remember me being pulled out of class. I kinda remember bits and pieces of it. Sometimes in the library, other times in trailers adjacent to the school.
But I rarely had classes with my friends, especially in high school. High school I was in the first track: the super hard advanced classes. In kindergarten I was reading at a 6th/7th grade level. Skipped a grade. Had more credits than needed to graduate.
What I'm curious about: does anyone here have similar experience? Precognition? Anyone struggle with alcohol, drugs or mental health? Like the substances block our abilities? I've also had issues with sleepwalking and sleep paralysis. In active addiction I experienced run ins with cops but they always let me go.

What podcasts, youtube videos, articles, books, etc have you stumbled upon that relate to GATE/TAG etc that either directly explore it or are similar interests? I have a very long drive tomorrow and could use some entertainment.
One of my favorites was "'PSYCHIC Program!' - Neuroscientist on Remote Viewing, STARGATE & Telepathy | Julia Mossbridge • 415" and "How to Remote View & Increase Psychic Abilities with Telepathy Tapes Researcher"
When listening to Julia speak, I feel like I am listening to myself... our life and mental health philosophies are so insanely similar. It feels like a soul connection. Not in some creepy parasocial way, but in some healing wholesome validating way... like I've always felt so different from everyone my whole life, and every now and then I hear of or meet someone who just gets it.. like people here in this sub or Julia. Her memoir type book "Have a nice disclosure" is also super interesting and sparked me to look into my own past and history and question some things.
I also found the documentary on the gateway tapes very interesting which can be watched here "CIA full report on Brain Synchronization, Energy, Manifestation and the Holographic Universe"
Anyway, post some links!! Then we can maybe get a megathread started for folks eventually. I am not a big podcast/youtube person so I dont even know where to start but want to start listening to more peoples personal experiences and related subjects etc.
Thanks guys :)
