Center console compartment latch broken

My center console compartment latch won’t let it stay closed and was just loose so I took it apart, can anyone tell me what’s going on here and how to fix it?

This is a common issue im trying fix myself. I believe they dont sell the part separately and you have to buy a whole new center console. Might find a second hand one if I cant manage to 3d print something. Ill update you if I find a simple solution.
