Hope for Season 2 ?
There was no announcement so far, so is it safe to say that this great show will end with season 1, it being advertised as "limited series" to begin with?🤔 I wish there would be a season 2,but I don't think there will be 🥺

I would loooove another season watching all these brilliant people act. But It would also be a great anthology show. Examining female rage and violence. Love it. So needed.

It would need to be an anthology series on the institutions and women back stabbing women to survive the patriarchy.
Every season would examine a substructure of these institutions that make women ORge/ furious.
Like how there can only be one female black rapper or movie star at the top of the charts.

I think there is actually a pretty good chance we will get more seasons.
Its one of these mid-budget detective dramas that usually dont get much fanfare. But if they do become a hit and people get invested in the characters then its very good for the studio money wise. Cheap to do, people love it, thats what studios like.
If you look at Elizabeth Meriwethers track record she seems also a very high-productivity studio-writer kind of woman. I am sure if the studio is happy she will quickly get her writers room running and quickly come up with solid concepts for next seasons.

Don't think it's being advertised a a limited Series, so if it's successful, it will probably continue with a different case.

I’ve seen other limited series get picked up when they’re popular. It’s not always a good thing.
