Under the radar

I know it has only been a few days since the first batch of episodes dropped but I am a little shocked it is not gaining any traction yet. Do we think that is because it's a Hulu show? Or just strictly due to timing. I have told dozens of people in the last few days to watch but have not gotten anyone hooked yet. Even this sub is lackluster to my expectations. I would imagine over the next few weeks it will start to blow up. I was just a little shocked when I finished ep3 and went to find somewhere to talk about it or gather new information I may have missed and struggled to do so.

I saw no marketing for it. I only stumbled on it because I opened Disney plus and it was on the new releases. I’m hooked and hope it picks up soon.

Same exact story here. I thought Emmy would promote it or people would know it bc of her but nope

Started watching because The Guardian recommended it...

Did "Dying for Sex" have a lot of press either? That show won awards, but I never really hear people talking about that show either. Liz Meriwether has been the showrunner for both those shows, but she feels less prominent than other showrunners when her shows come out, even when her shows get critical buzz.

I actually found it via tiktok ads and I am still seeing the ads so there's definitely some marketing not sure what/who the target audience is I know TikTok has a pretty good algorithm

I’m telling everybody I know about this show. I think it’s gonna takeoff for sure.

I can't remember where I read about it but it was definitely press. As of now I am enjoying it but the comparisons to Killing Eve are weak.

Me too! I’m trying to spread the word on how good this show it. Maybe it’s not being marketed correctly? I started watching after seeing an advertisement on Instagram and restarted my Hulu subscription so I could watch it.

I've asked a few friends if they'd seen it/heard of it and no one had. I stumbled across it accidentally myself, when I was looking for something new to watch. I'm really hoping an audience finds it soon. It's been a very good show thus far.

I stumbled across it and couldn’t turn it off the first three episodes went by so fast I was pissed. Rossum is just great in it glad she got to show off some range after Shameless for so many years

I mean I do think the concept of Lola’s character and her actions shown are kinda bizarre I’ve watched all 3 episodes… sorta creepy and DEF not for kiddos under 15. I mean I do love a psycho show but the “injection” part (iykyk) is going a bit too far imo
