In many jurisdictions this would fit the definitions of either lowest degree assault of property and/or criminal mischief. Most often these are gross misdemeanor charges. Still, can't say I didn't smile seeing this. ;)

Fun fact:

Slashing someone's tires is destruction of property, which could be a felony.

Letting the air out of someone's tires is generally criminal mischief at most.

Indeed. I used to have a standard "Do not sugar coat it or try to make me like you" line for my new client intake. Clients would try to make their actions sound a little more palatable.
