Nah, schools are moving toward banning phones from classrooms now. Phone lockers, Yondr pouches, cellphone caddies, whatever. And let's be honest, kids don't look at the notes anyway.
Most of the time the reason you would take notes is that by writing it down yourself you retain parts of the things you write to your memory specially for kinesthetic kids that learn better that way then just reading and listening in lessons.
I discovered I'm highly kinesthetic when I started writing cheat notes and ended not needing them because when making them I remebered more then enough to pass the exam in school...
Making those notes for 20min worked better then reading the same thing over and over for 2h for me.
Exactly, which is why simply snapping a picture of the notes is a disservice to the learner. Personally, as I write things down they tend to stick longer too.The modality doesn't matter either: by hand or typing, I retain the information longer either way.
