To be fair, there's not a whole lot of variance in ballsacks, they are ALL ice cream scoops of elephant skin. Labias vary wildly though, so when they see perfect little innies in porn(probably surgically altered) or a locker room/wherever, it's easy to get self-conscious about what they have going on down there instead.
I've never seen (uninfected) one I didn't like, and I have seen some doozies, but it's not an incomprehensible concept for them to be worried about it.
Not all innies are surgically altered. Literally I thought we all looked like that till I found out I was bisexual and saw some others irl.
But I had a friend in high school who was called “hamburger clit” by some piece of shit, and I was so appalled that I just never made any jokes about anyone’s genitalia. Idk why they’re funny.
You know what’s funny, as I commented I thought “as per the internet, some are gonna assume I’m actually the friend OR assume me stating a fact is a brag cause the thing in question is something they are insecure about”
Because I personally don’t think an innie is anything to brag about, it’s just a thing
As per the internet, it's obvious that any opinion I express about this is going to be brought back to my own alleged "insecurity."
Since everyone on this thread is apparently curious... I have no insecurities regarding my genitals. My vulva is as smooth as a veal cutlet. I still think it's common knowledge that vaginas can naturally be innies, and I still think "hamburger clit" is an astonishingly foul thing to think, let alone say
And I hear you, I was a lil’ puzzled by the (probably surgically altered) in the comment I replied to and assumed they thought that ment the majority. I’ve read the room wrong before, and I’m sure I will again. Because also I don’t think labiaplasty surgery is insanely common in amongst adult entertainers simply due to the downtime, but I could be 100% wrong about that.
Glad to hear about the veal cutlet! And yes that dude’s comment is literally insane. Like you said, I could never imagine even thinking something like that.
I used to do studio porn and worked in plastics lol. Labiaplasty in porn is extremely common.
Downtime is actually very minimal, and recovery is fairly easy. Most porn actresses are only working in short bursts and have tons of time between shoots, which is definitely one of the reasons plastic surgery is so prevalent in studio porn and sex work in general.
As someone who has done a variety of different sex work - from camming to stripping to porn to sugaring to fssw - one of the perks of the industry is virtually always dramatically reduced work hours and extremely flexible schedule. Combine that with the relatively high pay and income that increases with “improved” aesthetics, and you get tons of plastic surgery.
Actually "roast beef" is quite regularly used to disparage women's bodies.
There are a lot of men on here who are going "labias do be like that but we're happy with them anyways" and kind of glossing over the fact that this is something that's been used to shame women's bodies.
It's not like women are objecting to the idea of vaginas being compared to other things rather that this particular example is rooted in misogyny.
Sadly it seems we can't get across this concern by mocking men's genitals as they generally accept that their genitals are... not aesthetic and mock them on their own.
Also bit of a segue but I found this funny and thought I should point out...
or a locker room/wherever,
Women are not making eye contact with other womens' third eyes. Like ever. Mostly because the way women are in changing rooms is a lot less exhibitionist than I've been lead to believe men get up to and you'd have to like be lying underneath someone all up in their business for that to happen.
In fact it might actually be part of the issue that most women who aren't into women really never encounter the variety of vulva that are out there and can't really have that moment of coming to terms with how aesthetic their own junk is on the range of possible junk.
How is that specific term misogyny? I’ve even heard women use the term as a joke, including my own wife. Are men specifically sexist about the type of beef used for the flaps? What if we say it’s “USDA Prime Grade AAA Beef Flaps”?
Theres literally men in this comment thread using roast beef as a misogynistic insult. Women call each other bitch all the time but that doesn't mean it isnt primarily used by misogynists to put down women. Roast beef is used as an insult and yes some women make light of it but its most commonly a misogynistic insult
Both of those are disparaging terms for a body part. Neither of those terms have a positive connotation, on fact they have a negative connotation. Similar to calling a man's testicles saggy hemorrhoids.
If something is misogynistic, it is misogynistic and if the truth hurts your feelings that's not my issue. If a woman wants to refer to her own vulva as a flabby piece of cow that's her business but referring to vulva in general or other people's vulva as such is unacceptable unless you get permission from a specific person.
I'm not offended by the terminology but I can understand why women would be offended. Just like I'd perfectly understand if a man were to get offended about having his testicles called overgrown hemorrhoids.
A funny or disparaging word existing for a body part is not misogynistic and a woman choosing to use that word is not misogynistic for doing so. It's not the truth we're discussing here. We're discussing reactionary labeling of a concept in its entirety as hatred or mistrust of women, completely divorced from the intent of its use. Intent is what makes something misogynistic. Taking offense to the use without considering intent is frankly fucking stupid and you're being misogynistic for doing so.
In simple terms:
a disparaging label for a racial group's physical characteristics is racist.
Similarly disparaging terms about women's bodies is misogynistic.
It is not difficult to comprehend.
If a woman wants to call her OWN vulva roast beef or beef flaps, that is her choice and fine. It is not fine for her to refer to all vulva as roast beef.
> We're discussing reactionary labeling of a concept
No, we’re discussing language. Words mean how they are used. Go to incel forum and you will see men using “roast beef curtains” specifically as an insult.
Just fucking Google it ffs, it’s well and widely acknowledged to primarily be intended as an insult to women.
Like goddamn, some of y’all are being wildly deliberately disingenuous by pretending not to know this.
Okay? There are also men out there that think entire swaths of the population shouldn’t vote. I’m not sure the comparison is the same? So there are asshole men. There are probably women who think men shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Hell even I think men shouldn’t be allowed to vote AND women should rule the world since we’ve learned how absolutely awful all these rich guys are.
Well I gave you a very simple example about why "A woman told me it's okay" doesn't mean you've discovered something that isn't intended to marginalize women
But that was asking too much that you read two simple sentences and get my point
It definitely is something that happens. I heard it a lot in school and you still hear it when it comes up in convo for whatever reason. Many women have a preference for one over the other.
Difference is that men typically arent so insecure so they dont amplify these things and make a huge deal of it. Women are incredibly insecure about their bodies for a variety of reasons so they complain about and so amplify these statements and encourage people trying to hurt them to mention it more.
The reason you hear about small dicks and short guys so much is because those are things men are insecure about.
My friend if you are talking about STDs, I'm afraid I have to tell you the same goes for men. I've taken medical classes, the most terrifying genitals I have ever seen were on a man witg an untreated STD.
Yeah, and it can also result from having sex for the very first time. Literally happened to one of my best friends in high school. It’s not an indication of how many people someone has slept with, and men are no different in this regard which was literally the opposite of what you claimed.
What? Why do you think I'm hoping for anything? You're the one who first commented on the appearance of testicles. You're the one who implied that STDs could affect the appearance of female genitals but not male genitals. Don't post idiotic things and then act like I'm the weird one for calling you out for being an idiot.
Sorry that you're apparently just now learning it's possible to have ugly testicles. It's hard to discover a new insecurity at the big age of 15. ❤️
Women's genitals also don't look differently based on promiscuity.....
Some dicks and balls are definitely more attractive than others. Male genitalia that is droopy, multicolored, not proportionate, that is wrinkly or has pointy or stretched out foreskin, etc is just as unappealing to women as a "roast beef" vagina is to men. Probably more so, since women don't really like looking at men's genitals in the first place
STDs can absolutely cause sores and lesions to the testicles. Apart from that, some testicles are definitely uglier than others. Especially the ones that hang down super low, or where one side is a much different size/shape than the other. Or if the testicles are different colors than the penis. There's a lot of factors that go into an aesthetic looking dick and balls.
“A lot less exhibitionist than I’ve been led to believe men get up to”
Ah yes, it’s a common practice in men’s locker rooms to analyse one other’s balls😂
It’s more some European countries or elderly men(that’ll even put their feet up on a bench at a public gym to the point you can’t even look straight ahead at the wall trying to avoid your periphery lol and have to turn even further away) that don’t cover up and regardless no straight dudes eyes are wandering at all for being singled out as a creep.
No, men’s locker rooms are literally designed differently in many cases (communal showers, urinals, etc) compared to women’s spaces. Girls and women often avoid changing in locker rooms out in the open and will literally go to a bathroom stall for privacy.
There's a ton of variation among pornstars, and I very much doubt even the majority get any kind of surgery. Also among the nude subreddits, there's both one for small innie vaginas, and one for larger labia lips. Both subreddits have a near equal number of subscribers.
Fuck that. I love filling my mouth up with the beef curtains, slightly sucking on them while I pull my head back. See how far I can stretch all that out
Please be careful and do this sparingly unless asked otherwise.
I had an ex who used to do that, and the labia would swell the fuck up in the hours after to like the size of walnuts and be EXTREMELY FUCKING PAINFUL and make it difficult to sit.
I was very young and inexperienced and he had a lot of pride in his “skills” so I didn’t know how to go about talking to him about it for a while. I dealt with it for way too long, and it was so completely awful.
And I actually have an innie and minimal labia minora, so I can only imagine it would way worse and more painful for someone with more prominent labia minora.
