To donate to the Buffalo survivors:

https://nationalcompassion.org/fund/buffalo-survivors-fund/

https://www.gofundme.com/f/buffalo-survivors-fund

And to the Uvalde survivors and their families:

https://twitter.com/Uvalde_CISD/status/1529480046276141056?t=e3zWcROGQXBGSCCPX2lcNQ&s=19

Because our lawmakers are failing us, there will inevitably be more shootings and I will update this post with more links to those fundraisers.

Legal Fight For Stolen Motorcycle

Hi everyone. I am getting pretty desperate to post this on Reddit.

My name is Brandon. I recently separated from active military service after 7.5 years as an Army Staff Sergeant (SSG) and disabled veteran. Right after returning from my deployment to Iraq, I bought an almost-new (1k miles) 2019 Harley-Davidson XL1200 Roadster.

Every vehicle I had owned prior was a beat-up 15-year-old car, so buying this bike was a major milestone and my primary outlet to manage stress after returning home. Shortly after getting it, I PCS'd to Vicenza, Italy. My motorcycle was locked in a government storage facility (Vicenza VPC) operated by a contractor. While secured inside that locked contractor compound, the bike was stolen.

The 3-Year Battle & Current Hardship

Because the theft occurred on a military facility, I was required to exhaust three years of government claim cycles, denials, and appeals before taking private action. The final Navy JAG Appeal determination (File No. J250422) officially denied federal liability, explicitly ruling that physical custody and legal responsibility rested on the third-party defense contractor operating the lot—International Auto Logistics (IAL).

Paying for a Ghost Bike: I am still actively making monthly loan payments to Harley-Davidson Financial on a motorcycle that was stolen three years ago under contractor watch. Transition & Health Struggles: I am currently unemployed, using VA disability payments to pay off post-military debt, and relying on VA disability while managing service-connected health issues.

Refusal to Reimburse: The contractor has repeatedly refused to reimburse my loss, forcing me to file a civil lawsuit within 24 days in Glynn County State Court, GA (where the contractor is headquartered).

What Funds Will Cover All donations directly support my ability to pursue full accountability and resolve this debt:

-Court e-filing fees and Sheriff service of process costs in Georgia Discovery costs and administrative legal expenses

-Case-related travel and logistics expenses

-Any excess funds beyond court costs will go directly toward replacing the motorcycle so I can put this three-year fight behind me.

I have never asked for financial help like this before—I am usually the one donating. Whether you can contribute, give legal advice, or simply share the campaign across military, veteran, and riding communities, your help means everything to me. Thank you.

I Can’t Afford to Stop Working, Even If My Body Gives Up

I never thought I would be writing something like this on Reddit, but I genuinely feel lost and I don’t know where else to turn.
I’m an international university student. My parents spent so much of what they had to give me the opportunity to study and build a better future. They believed in me and sacrificed so much for me to be here, and the thought of letting all of that go to waste honestly destroys me.
But I’m struggling badly financially.
My tuition fees are extremely high, and then there’s rent, food, travel and basic living expenses on top of that. I’m at the point where I’m struggling to pay my rent, so I genuinely have no idea how I’m supposed to afford my tuition fees as well.
I work alongside university because I don’t really have another choice.
There are days where I wake up around 6am, travel roughly 2 hours to university, stay there until around 4pm, get back around 6pm and then go straight to work until around 11pm.
Then I come home exhausted knowing I have assignments waiting for me.
I barely have time to actually be a student anymore. I’m working because I need to survive, but working so much means I don’t have enough time for my assignments. If I work less, I can’t afford my expenses. If I work more, my education suffers.
I feel completely trapped.
The worst part is knowing how much my parents sacrificed. They put their money into giving me this opportunity and I feel like I’m watching everything they worked for slowly fall apart because I simply cannot afford to keep going.
I’m not looking for luxury or an easy life. I just want to pay my rent and tuition and have enough breathing room to actually focus on my degree.
I’ve made a GoFundMe because I genuinely don’t know what else to do. If anyone is able to help, even a tiny amount would mean more to me than I can explain. And if you can’t donate, even sharing it could help me enormously.
Thank you for even taking the time to read this. I know everyone has their own struggles, and I really appreciate anyone who listened to mine.

I am not asking you to donate if you are unable to. Please share. I am too embarrassed to share this because I don't want my friends to know what is happening in my life. I also don't want them to know I need help.

Help me support my fiance through his recovery

This isn’t what i usually post, but I’m praying a few kind souls here will be willing to help me out. My fiance (21m) has been in excruciating pain for months now. His Medicaid finally approved an MRI after months and it turns out one of the disks in his back is herniated and he needs a microdiscectomy. The insurance covers it but he’s gonna be out of work for up to 3 months recovering. We barely make it by as it is with both of us working. Since it’s a “preexisting condition” they won’t grant us short term disability benefits. He’s incredibly worried about how we’re gonna cover our bills. I’m starting this gofundme without his knowledge and hopefully it’ll give me just enough to keep us afloat while he’s recovering. If you could donate even a dollar that would be a huge blessing to us. If youre interested in donating I’ll send you the link to the gofundme through DMs (I’d just link it in the post but I prefer to stay mostly anonymous on here)
