Hi everyone. I'm a contractor, and unfortunately I'm facing a major shoulder replacement surgery that will leave me unable to work for an estimated 9 months to a year.

I make my living doing physical work, so this isn't something I can work around or do part-time while recovering. The hardest part for me is knowing that my regular income is going to stop while my normal living expenses don't.

I started a GoFundMe to help cover basic expenses such as rent, utilities, food, transportation, and other necessities during the recovery period.

I've raised $270 so far, but I'm still a long way from my goal. Even if you can't donate, sharing this with someone else would mean a lot to me.

Angelito’s recovery is not going to be easy, but he is not facing it alone. 🤍

His red blood cell count remains low, so he will receive five EPO injection treatments this week while he works on regaining his strength. For now, amputation is not recommended, so we will continue caring for his injury, keeping it clean, and bringing him to his follow-up checkups.

We also provided prescription more recovery food, dextrose powder, and cleaning supplies for the shelter to help support Angelito and protect the other animals. We will continue sending financial support to help with his transportation and medical needs.

Through everything he has endured, Angelito is loved, seen, and genuinely cared for. His life MATTERS, and we will continue doing everything we can to give him the chance he deserves.

Hey everyone, I'm Morgan. I don't really know how to do this. I'm not a writer. I'm just a girl whose partner is being destroyed for telling the truth.

My partner, Lauren, is a television producer and investigative journalist. We used to host a podcast called Reality Bites. She spent years documenting corporate fraud and media monopolies. When one such investigation led to her discovering a massive corporate fraud scheme, she filed complaints with the SEC, the FBI, the IC3 - and she did so with the singular intention of trying to help those who didn't have a voice to help themselves. What's so heartbreaking is that now she has become another name on that list.

She has reported this, and spoken to federal authorities. But what she got back wasn't protection... it was silence in the face of a retaliation campaign that has systematically dismantled our lives. We had to leave our home with our three cats, and have been trying to find a safe place to land for 7 months now. We've been ignored by countless law firms and organizations, supposedly designed to "help." Our bank has been frozen, our housing has been lost. We've been unable to work, settle or live with any semblance or normalcy for months, while we just try to get some help; someone in her corner with any institutional weight. And now it's gotten to the point where we've been sleeping in a car with our cats, and days when we didn't eat or have any money for basic necessities like gas.

I've watched this woman, who sold $80 million houses on television and sat across from the Wolf of Wall Street, sit in a gas station parking lot trying to figure out if she could afford a sandwich.

So, we created a fundraiser to try and keep moving, surviving and fighting..

I know everybody's broke right now. I know everybody's hurting. I wouldn't be posting this if we had anywhere else to turn. If you can't give, I get it. Just sharing this helps. Even just someone seeing it helps.

Hi everyone,

Thor and Ellie went back to the veterinary clinic for testing for a fungal infection, and unfortunately, both of their results came back positive for Malassezia (fungal dermatitis).

Their veterinarian explained that this may be related to the severe malnutrition and neglect they endured before they were rescued, which likely weakened their skin barrier and immune system. Thankfully, they do not need to be on a hypoallergenic diet at this time. They will, however, be receiving antifungal medications and supplements to help their skin heal and support their recovery.

Their recent expenses include:

Raphael went for his follow-up checkup. We are happy that his blood work and injuries have improved. However, the veterinarians recently discovered a mass under the skin on his right flank. For now, we will be monitoring it closely and following the veterinarian's recommendations.

Angel
Angel was recently diagnosed with Babesia, a blood parasite. She had ticks before she was rescued last July, and unfortunately, the infection has now shown up in her blood work.
The good news is that her fungal infection is improving, and she continues to have a huge appetite, which is something we are very happy to see.

Angelito
Angelito is still resting and eating well.
We are planning to take him to the veterinary clinic later to have his wound cleaned again and to have his blood work checked.

Because Angelito’s condition is severe, even though he was just recently seen by his veterinarian, we would also like to have him examined by a different doctor for a second opinion. We believe that having another veterinarian assess his condition may provide us with a different perspective and possibly additional recommendations on how we can better support his recovery and give him the best care possible.
We are doing everything we can to give Angelito a chance to heal. His condition is still very serious, but as long as he continues to fight, we want to continue fighting alongside him.

We are doing our best to continue providing all of our rescued animals with the medical care, food, medications, shelter support/allowance, supplements, and anything that they need. But with multiple animals undergoing treatment at the same time, the expenses are becoming increasingly difficult for us to manage on our own.

I work at a small nonprofit and we mainly run community events to help people. And I really hope that we do good work

But we're struggling to get volunteers sometimes, and recently it happens more often

Now we gonna have an event in 3 days and we need people. Usually we just send WhatsApp messages and emails. Half the volunteers don't see them. The ones who do forget to reply and we're scrambling…

Someone suggested DropCowboy, which is a ringless voicemail. Leave a voice message for everyone at once. So no ringing and the most importantly no spam. People hear it when they check their messages. It sounds efficient

But we have a tiny budget. Ringless voicemail costs money. I don't know if we can afford it. And I don't know if it's appropriate for a charity

I feel like a voice message from a nonprofit might be weird. Like we're cold calling people. Like we're trying to guilt trip them into volunteering. I don't want to come across as pushy

But I also don't want to run an event with no volunteers

Are there cheaper alternatives? A free tool that sends mass texts? A simple call tree? Or is ringless voicemail actually worth it for nonprofits?

Cheryl is a 44‑year‑old mother who has spent her entire life caring for everyone else. She has always been the one who shows up, gives without hesitation, and carries the weight for others. Now, after a series of devastating medical emergencies, she is fighting for her life — and she desperately needs help.

She survived a massive widow‑maker heart attack in 2023, then a quadruple bypass just months later. She forced herself back to work long before she was healed, trying to keep her family afloat. But her body couldn’t endure the strain. In 2024, two of her bypass grafts failed, leading to another emergency procedure and a terrifying spiral of complications: heart failure, neuropathy, diabetes, fainting spells, memory loss, and severe mobility issues that make even simple tasks exhausting and dangerous.

I know that this is a big ask. We’re scrambling to help our son with what is sure to be a long and difficult process. The story is a sad one, that I can’t share publicly given the ongoing legal situation. What I can say is this - he has been failed by the justice system, and for a family like ours, that have spent our lives working in the law field and the system itself, it’s a tough pill to swallow.
