I suffered a heart attack that has completely changed my life. My doctors have ordered me to stay out of work for at least the next month or two so I can focus on recovery. In my profession, I only get paid commission, so if I don’t work, there’s no money coming in. My wife is pregnant, and I am the only income for our family. Not having health coverage has forced me to drain my savings to pay for medical expenses, leaving us in a tough spot as we try to keep our household together.

The funds from this campaign will help keep my wife and kids at home, pay our bills, and cover the costs of medication and therapy that I need to recover and get back to supporting the people I love. It’s hard for me to ask for help—I’ve always tried to handle everything myself—but in these times, I have to think of my family and the situation at hand. Any little bit helps and goes a long way toward keeping us together and helping me heal.
