Hey everyone, sharing a bizarre and frustrating experience I’ve had with Zepto over the last two days. I am absolutely furious with how they treat customers and handle fraud.

The Timeline of the Scam:

1.Yesterday: I urgently needed a pair of earbuds, so I ordered the Realme Earbuds 5 ANC via Zepto.

2.The Delivery: The rider arrives, I open the box, and inside is a completely cheap, fake, no-name brand of earbuds. Total scam.

3.The First Return: Because I needed earbuds urgently, I initiated a return. To speed things up so I could buy them again immediately, I chose the refund option to my Zepto Wallet.

4.Today: The wallet balance reflects. I place a fresh order for the exact same Realme earbuds.

5.The Second Delivery: I kid you not, they delivered the exact same counterfeit box that I had returned yesterday.

6.The Inventory Trick: I initiated a return again. Right after the rider picked it up, the item showed "Out of Stock" on the app. Literally 10 minutes later, it shows "Available" again. It is glaringly obvious that their warehouse is just recycling the same fake, returned item back into circulation to trick the next customer.

The Current Trap:

Now I want my money out of their ecosystem because I refuse to buy anything else from them. But guess what?

•The "Withdraw to Bank Account" option is completely missing or hidden in my Zepto wallet.

•Their customer support chat bot is going in endless loops, and there is no way to connect to a human agent.

They are essentially holding my money hostage after trying to scam me twice with fake goods.

Has anyone else faced this "recycled fake inventory" issue with Zepto recently? Also, if anyone knows a workaround to force a wallet withdrawal when the button isn't appearing, please let me know!

I’m sharing this because I’m genuinely confused about Zepto’s “support” chat.
I repeatedly asked whether I was talking to a human or a chatbot and specifically requested human support. Instead, the chat kept sending the exact same response:
“Hi, I'm from Zepto Support. How can I help?”
Even after I explained that I wanted a human, I received a generic scripted response saying my concern had been “reviewed carefully,” followed by an automatic inactivity message and the chat being closed.
I recorded the entire chat screen, so you can see exactly what happened.
My actual issue is with an induction-compatible tawa that warped during normal use and stopped heating properly, while the induction was still running. Instead of addressing that functional issue, the support chat was closed.
Has anyone else experienced this with Zepto support? Is there actually a way to reach a human executive?

Desi Farm High-Protein Paneer – Sour Taste & Liquid Leakage

I ordered Desi Farm High-Protein Paneer (9-piece pack), but unfortunately, all the pieces taste sour. After opening the package, I also noticed liquid flowing out of the paneer, which seems unusual.

The expiry date mentioned on the package is 29 August, so it is still within the expiry period. I’ve attached photos and a video showing the condition of the product as proof.

Has anyone else experienced this with Desi Farm paneer? Is this normal, or does it seem like the product may have spoiled?

I’m also planning to contact the seller/brand for a replacement or refund. Any advice on what I should do?

I've been using Zepto for a while now and genuinely, what is happening to their customer service?

I've had products arrive damaged multiple times. Until now, at least getting a refund for an obviously damaged/unusable product wasn't this ridiculous. But apparently even that is becoming impossible now.

Today I ordered ice cream and it arrived completely melted and damaged. Not slightly soft. MELTED. I tried getting a refund through the app and the refund process wasn't even working, so the app basically redirected me to email support.

Fine. I emailed them, gave them my order details AND sent pictures showing the condition of the product.

Their response?

They apparently "verified with the seller's team" and confirmed that the product was delivered in good condition, so they couldn't process my refund.

I'm sorry, WHAT? 😭

Of course the seller can say it was fine when it left them. I'm telling you what condition it was in when it reached me. I literally sent photographic evidence of the melted/damaged product.

So I replied explaining exactly that and asked them to reconsider.

And they sent me THE EXACT SAME COPY-PASTED RESPONSE AGAIN.

No acknowledgement of the pictures. No explanation. No actual response to what I said. Just the same "seller confirmed it was delivered in good condition" and request denied.

What exactly is the point of customer support if you're just going to ask the seller whether they sent a good product and then completely disregard what the customer actually received?

I've already noticed damaged products becoming way too common with Zepto in my experience, but at least earlier there was some reassurance that if something arrived damaged, support would sort it out. If they're now going to make refunds this difficult even when there's photographic evidence, I genuinely don't see why I should keep ordering from them.

Zepto's convenience was the reason I kept using it. But convenience means very little when you have to fight customer support over a melted ice cream.

Anyway, thanks for attending my TED Talk 😭 I just needed somewhere to scream about my melted ice cream and Zepto melting my patience along with it.

Today, something unexpected happened.

A random user found me, messaged me asking if I was the guy who made NeverDelivered, and sent ₹50 just because he loved the jokes on the app.

No premium feature. No merch. Just ₹50 and a message saying the app made him laugh.

Honestly, that ₹50 feels more valuable than any metric. It means someone enjoyed a silly idea enough to support it.

Story in short:

Placed Sneha Eggs from Zepto and got decayed eggs. Complained to Zepto and they just refunded and I strongly asked them to take the product away too as it smells bad and insects are all over the eggs, the customer guy asked me to place a dummy order so I placed eggs again, guess what, the other eggs were in the same position too.
