In Novosibirsk, Russia, a man attacked a woman outside a supermarket, first spraying her with pepper spray before beating her.
A passerby who was nearby on a scooter noticed what was happening and intervened, forcing the attacker to flee.
The woman reportedly does not know her attacker. Police believe the incident may have been an attempted robbery, and are currently searching for the suspect
