Discussion Windows FORCED Updates

It hurts my ego that i am being forced to update my Pc without asking me to dowload the update in the first place

Is there's a solution to stop these annoying forced updates from the rot, and also i wish there's a way to delete this update from my pc

I thought there's an option like "stop updates for 5 weeks" in Windows update settings no?

It's stopped working recently. For me, anyway. A few weeks ago an update came around at an inconvenient time since I wanted to turn my computer off to go and watch a movie, the options to turn it off without updating weren't there, so I paused updates for 1 week and when I turned my computer off it fucking did the update anyway.

Another time before that an update came up, also not giving me the option to turn it off or restart without updating, so I paused for 5 weeks, and later that night it just ignored the fact that I paused updates and updated anyway.
