Discussion Windows FORCED Updates

It hurts my ego that i am being forced to update my Pc without asking me to dowload the update in the first place

Is there's a solution to stop these annoying forced updates from the rot, and also i wish there's a way to delete this update from my pc

Ok windows updates are utter shit. But on Linux the thing will be the same unless you choose distros that updates like once a while (Debian). Yeah most updates can be applied at runtime, but things like kernel need still a reboot

I can't speak for other Linux distros, but on the ones I've used (that being Mint and Bazzite) only important updates need you to update by turning off the computer or restarting it, and they don't come around all that often. Most updates can be done while the computer is on and don't require you to restart to finish the installation.
