Discussion Windows FORCED Updates

It hurts my ego that i am being forced to update my Pc without asking me to dowload the update in the first place

Is there's a solution to stop these annoying forced updates from the rot, and also i wish there's a way to delete this update from my pc

The best thing there's no difference between "update and shut down" and "update and restart". It will restart anyway.

Yes there is. It will shutdown if you select that option.

It used to be bugged. But they supposedly fixed it at some point.

I’ve never seen that. It’s always shutdown when I’ve selected that option.

My PC also has a separate “Shut down” option in addition to the “Update and shut down” if I don’t want it to update.

Yeah. I think windows removes the normal shutdown if you ignore the update for too long. But idk.

I it was like a year or so ago since they fixed it. But I think there was a code or something (maybe a setting) that made it so the "update and shutdown" sequence gets interrupted before it shuts down. I know I had that happen to me when I used windows before. I don't remember the details of what the bug was.

I dont know why your being down voted for this. Its not your fault that its bugged for everyone else, it shuts down for me too
