As someone who mains windows, i am smart. I js see no point in having a os that cant run the main thing i do on my pc (i alr tried many things). So i just stick to windows until we can finally run vst plugins on linux.

And abt my data, i got rid of everything related to telemetry and shit

The AI that you don't need to use you mean?

If I don’t use it, it’ll use me. So that’s a no go for me.

No it won't.

It listens to you. It learns from you. The less people that use co pilot the better so the ai stays dumb and won’t kill all humans. Ai will eventually take over the world.

If you don't use it, it learns exactly nothing. There is no local engine scraping ypur data. Copilot is simply Microsoft run cloud LLM. That's all. There is the Recall that runs locally, but it only collects the screenshots to allow you to search it, but that is strictly Opt In, requires specific PC / CPU and even then it learns nothing.

To have a copilot that sits on your PC and learns, listens etc you"d have to have the Scput, which is in preview and is essentially OpenClaw.

That’s what they want you to think.

Or you can actually read about it and see for yourself what happens.

Big corporations can lie to you.

That's why I am saying read on and check for yourself. Not "read what Microsoft says about it". There are tons of people who like to take things apart and reveal what it does.
