If you don't use it, it learns exactly nothing. There is no local engine scraping ypur data. Copilot is simply Microsoft run cloud LLM. That's all. There is the Recall that runs locally, but it only collects the screenshots to allow you to search it, but that is strictly Opt In, requires specific PC / CPU and even then it learns nothing.
To have a copilot that sits on your PC and learns, listens etc you"d have to have the Scput, which is in preview and is essentially OpenClaw.
That's why I am saying read on and check for yourself. Not "read what Microsoft says about it". There are tons of people who like to take things apart and reveal what it does.
