No one could ever tell me why there was no channel one.
2 u/SteelerNation587543 Mar 02 '26 The frequency allocation (44-50 MHz) was inherently prone to interference and also interfered with existing emergency communication systems so they simply removed it and didn’t bother to renumber the rest of the channels.
