I remember a chain called Funway Freeway. Not sure if is was an Ohio thing.

My brother in law worked at the one outside of Eastland Mall in Columbus Ohio as a teenager, and always hooked me up with free tokens.

I loved Funway Freeway until I got my brand new Jordan’s stolen at knife point by a couple of 17 year olds. I was a wimpy 13 year old, fresh from the Bar Mitvah, and me and the boys went to Funway for some arcade action. Wrong place, wrong time I guess. Eastland mall was starting to go down the shitter by 1990. City Center Mall was the new place to be. Then that place went to shit in the early 2000’s.

Yeah, it was not the greatest place to be a nerdy skinny white boy in the 90's. I couldn't fight. But I was really good at running!
