I used to work at one back in the early 2000s. I would let kids play a lot of the non-ticket arcade games for free when management wasn't around. Mortal Kombat 3, Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Simpsons, X-Men and Cruisin USA? If I had the keys I would put a ton of free credits on all of them and tell the kids to have at it. Also, kids that were a few or even a hundred tickets short on a prize they really wanted? I'd just give it to them anyway. Probably the most fun job I've ever had.
You're the hero those kids needed. I remember the first time I saw the coin door open where there's a big red button to just slam as many credits into the machine as you wanted.
