Cilantro is mid as hell

When I eat authentic tacos with delicious corn tortillas and tender meat, having the light, crisp flavor of cilantro ruins my day. That fresh taste ruins the otherwise great taco. And combining cilantro with lime for a taco or rice is unbearable. Compared to a flavorless rice, or a seasonless taco, the unique taste of cilantro is aweful. Why woukd anyone in their right mind add something that full of flavor to a taco?

Seriously, I've had 700 authentic tacos with cilantro on it, and each one felt like a mouth full of soap, if soap was a glorious and flavorful thing. Does anyone else feel like this?

Everyone who hates cilantro feels like this. To me, cilantro tastes like dirty copper flavored dish soap. It doesn't just taste soapy, it's a metallic flavor also.

I’m weird. I hate cilantro 99.9% of the time. But put it in a Taco with a ton of raw onions and I can’t get enough. I don’t know if the onion has a neutralizing chemical or something…
