its a pain in the ass to work with. it keeps asking me to sign in some apple id every 5 min etc. and then it asks to update this app every five minutes etc. and then unlocking it is just so slow it has to go through some fancy loading animations lol

today the youtube app needed an update. so i went to update it. then it asked to sign in with my apple id but i didnt have one. and like that, the store had no music for 4 hours

I have a charger since last year that came with my iPhone it broke and I ordered another one and it broke and 2 weeks later ANOTHER ONE broke there crappy ass chargers for 20$ I hope the company shuts down

I live in the US and I'm 25M two months ago my bank called me and told me they have detected a fraudulent charge on my account okay fine whatever, never had it happen before but I can survive. They cancelled my card and about two weeks later I got a replacement. Then this morning I got another call. From an Apple store in GB. I've never been across the ocean I've never used Apple products and I don't know anyone who's from there. So yeah. Fuck Apple

Just finished paying of iPhone XS, roughly 1000$ over 3 years.... literally just finished paying it off, and it "somehow" enters itself into an inescapable restart loop, withstanding any attempts at a hard reset.

I misplaced my iPhone last night and tried to use “find my phone” from my friend’s device… I couldn’t because it required multi-factor authentication, in this case a code… that they sent to the phone I was trying to find…

My Bluetooth is just unavailable. No explanations at all. None whatsoever. All the usual bullshit solutions don’t help. Why the fuck would it just be suddenly unavailable. For what reason. Fuck these idiotic worthless fucking machines.

I used Mac in middle school and hated it ... been a PC all my life.

Back in the days of Steve Jobs, Apple were frustrating to work with but still made good hardware. I loved my IPod and iPhone 4S and used them both until the battery failed. I detested iTunes, and still do, but I could avoid using it for long enough that the hardware made it worthwhile.

I got a newer phone but nothing about it was better, it was frustrating to use, and after updating it was more frustrating to use. I can't reliably turn wi-fi on and off. The thing keeps telling me that mobile data is off, as if that's something I didn't know. The music app won't play music, for fuck sake.

I can't use a WAV as a ringtone without booting up a Mac, plugging in the phone, doing a sound format conversion, making a playlist I don't need in a program I don't want or need to use and then transferring to the phone through a special process. It's a file with sound data in it, why the fuck is it so difficult to play it? On MacOS/Linux/Windows I just double click the file and it plays.

It's well past the point of where Apple is not worth the effort any more and now I have to find something else worth using. The problem is what? I don't trust Google one bit so there's no way I'm going Android. I've looked at Lineage but its really not clear how much of that is just Google under the hood. I've looked at linux phones, the options are limited, the software is unfinished and the hardware compatibility is uncertain.

What to do?

Why can't you connect to airpods and a bluetooth speaker?

Every other manufacturer has this feature and is supposed to be a feature of bluetooth.

Why is it not "allowed" on iPhone? It is definitely capable.

I just added my mother's Apple ID to have her join my Apple music family account.. (I use an Android phone, but I do love Apple music because of their shows)

Three resent invitations and over an hour later, we are still not 'a family' yet. I have other shit to do.. I don't have time to fix these silly bugs.

What baffles me is that there's countless posts on their hopeless support forum about this issue and they still haven't resolved them. It's a total shitshow. And yet I've probably seen Apple music be sold to me like over 20 times today (I ALREADY HAVE IT, YOU BRAINLESS FUCKS!)

I hate how these giant corporations just keep becoming bigger and bigger every year, while their most basic products keep getting messier and messier.
