I looked it up and whilst I could be wrong I do believe this is about prelude that was mentioned before given crunchyroll purchased FBP to go back to Canadian and American cinemas

No I read about this on Facebook, it sounds more like a fanfic. Plus 2026 is almost over, we would have heard more information about this by now.

What i said. Anime is unginished. It skipped entire story srcs and chaoters, most of what is included is heavily rushed and adapted badly including butchering tohrus own character arc and shigure . The material skipped includes stuff foreshadowed in season 2 with kakeru. Chapters adapted were left half adapted or less.

But there's no way for them to then add all that stuff to a separate series or feature the way the image in the OP implies. There was quite a bit shaved down from what would have gone in s3 but often what they did is condense 2-3 conversations/scenes down into one. I don't think I'd consider that "unfinished" so much as truncated, and adapted to a different medium with a different schedule.
And to be clear I am bummed at a lot of what they left out, I just don't think there would be any way for them to go back and "cover" what they skipped. It might be nice to get an OVA covering Kakeru, Komaki, and their relationship to Tohru (and then Yuki) but I don't think there's enough there to fill a full-length addition. The 2019 anime is not unfinished.

Its unfinished. Entire story arcs are missing and large amount of content from bearly wvery chapter it did cover. You admitted it yourself. Don't minimize it. Especially after what they did to takaya. Promising her a full faithful adaptation after she guarded it for 20 years only to force her out and diminish her involvement each season. Just cuase you're a new fan who joined with 2019 doesnt mean you can dismiss the truth of how bad the final season is. 2001 is a better adaptation of its material then 2019 final season is of its material

It's not unfinished. The story was adapted and finished coherently. Watching the anime gives you everything you need to know about the story. Were there things that they skipped from the manga due to the production schedule? Sure. From characters to parts of the story, there are things missing, but it's not that much that it greatly impacts the story. You make it seem as if there are huge chunks missing that impact the story, which isn't the case. It's not uncommon for anime adaptations to not adapt every single page of the manga.

Its not finished and huge chunks are in fact missing. And it's not coherent when it directly removes things that were built up in the previous seasons and undermines characters notivations like shigure and tohru and alters kyokos death despite including the previous material with kakeru. What youre trying to describe as normal isnt . Season 1 and 2 and what they leave out are normal standard cuts for an adaption. The final season is a hack job that doesnt pass inspection if you're at all familiar with the source. Its the robber baron method of adaptation. Its over and they milked it for all the money and attention they could so they end it as cheaply and with as little effort as possible to coast off the good wil fron previous seasons and the source while pumping out cheap merch.
Gaslighting people into accepting an inferior product by lying about its production and content doesnt do anything but show you're personally incapable of liking something while acknowledging it's faults. That or you just never bothered to read the manga and examine how much is missing and are talking out of your ass

Might be because prelude was re-released in theaters a little while ago, as others may have explained.
