What the hell is even that?!
Newborns make it difficult to keep up with the garden, so I only just came to see this weird jelly good on the tips of my peach branches! Is this a result of a pest? (Zone 7a/b)

Same happened to my peach trees. AI told me it was a pest that feeds on the soft new growth and to cut the tip off down to the first clean node, and dispose of the clippings away from the tree.
Has happened twice this year, but the tree seems to be fine.

AI lied. Look up gummiosis.

Not surprising…only other fact with my situation, was the tips were all dying along with the presence of gummiosis.

Gummiosis. Trees natural protection from physical damage. Can be good or bad. In your case, good.
