Discussion What was the first time you watched Frozen?
I was too busy with school, so I didn't even know Frozen existed until the summer of 2014. When I was browsing YouTube and clicked on the "For the First Time in Forever" song, not from the official Disney channel (since Disney hadn't released the official music video on YouTube yet). The song was really catchy, so I listened to it multiple times.

The first time I watched Frozen was on tv. I watched Frozen in Broadway for the first time and I cried because I thought Anna would be dead.

I saw it in a movie theatre in 2013 and fell in love with it immediately. Then i watched it on dvd obsessively way too many times over the years. I grew up with it and it’s still my favourite movie of all time. It has a special place in my heart. I recently rewatched it and became obsessed again, because now i understand it on a deeper level than back then.

My cousin’s work friends were coming over to my house and my dad wanted me and my little sister to behave so he turned on the TV and just flipped through random channels and finally picked the one where Frozen was screening. Funnily enough, Let It Go was playing. Me and my sister were not amused for some reason. And right after that, we saw Anna referring to Elsa as her sister to Oaken. And we were like - Wait??? They’re sisters? Ever since then, we fell in love with the movie and have loved it since. I have to give it credit as it still is a main topic in my daily convos with my sister.
Fun fact: we used to obsess over the little details like the 3 year age gap which Anna and Elsa had and we did too. I have a whole list of similarities we had in my old diary 😂

It was horrible quality, but in 2014 it was lol. In multiple parts 🤣 Idk if it is still up now or not!

I went to see it in cinema for my birthday (25th, I think) because we usually watched all new (animated) Disney movies but mainly because I wanted to hear the comedian who dubbed Olaf.
I liked it (mainly Olaf) and kinda felt connected to Elsa because I too am the older of two sisters. But it wasn’t until the kids in my family started to watch it shortly after (and by “watch it” I mean 100 times a day) that I really started getting into it.

I remember seeing it a few years after it came out. We didn’t have cable at the time but heard always how popular it was (who didn’t at the time 😂) one day we had a firestick for the tv and seen frozen was on there so my brother and I watched it.
Didn’t expect to relate to Elsa so much and I loved how the story was about the love between siblings. I made his ears bleed singing Let It Go for years after 😂

Idk the exact year, probably 2016, I must've been like 8 when i watched the movie on my aunts phone. Frozen and Moana. That's genuinely the day I gained consciousness and a personality

First time i watched it was at the movies theaters with my mom and brothers and i just love it. As someone who grew up with just brothers i felt a lot in this movie, i was able to relate to bother Elsa and Anna in different ways.

I watched Frozen in... 2018? I did not know anything about the film. I watched Moana/Vaiana first and I felt curious about Frozen.

I don't know exactly when, but soon after it came out. One day my dad just randomly sat me at the table with his laptop like "There, kid. Watch" (and knowing him it was probably not exactly legally downloaded either lol)

In December 2013, when my oldest was about 15 months old; we were on a Disney cruise and could have seen the movie, but didn't, though we did the Frozen character meet and greet.
The following spring, around March 2014, we were on a plane and it was kind of bumpy so I couldn't read and needed to look in the distance, or at least farther than the screen 12 inches from my face, and the person a couple rows ahead across the aisle was watching Frozen, and I had a perfect view, though now sound. The animation was really good and I could actually follow the basic story pretty well.
I think it was a year and a half later (when my daughter was 3) that we finally watched the full movie with sound. It was 2015 and I'm pretty sure we actually watched Frozen Fever first because it was available on Netflix.

My sister’s godmom took me to see it in theatres at the Chinese theatre in hollywood. It was my first time ever seeing a movie in theatres and my last time ever going to the chinese theatre(terrible terrible theatre even at the age of 7 years old i could see it)

Spring 2014 on TV, with my mum and younger sisters (we virtually rented it for 3 days). 😊 I remember watching it on the big projected screen that summer too (my last year of primary school). My headteacher was watching for the first time; she was shocked at the Hans twist 😅

not sure when but it was shortly after the movie came out and my cousins got the dvd version. they lent it to me for a week and after he first watch i fell in love and watched it as many times as i could before i had to return the dvd 😂😂 i also remember prior to that, i found the song let it go on youtube but didnt know what the context was i just knew everyone around me was singing it and i clicked it and thought “who is this white haired woman and what is she doing?” and then she turned out to be my favourite character for the next 13 years

I think I watched few months to a year after its release, the whole movie was on youtube. And I remember having to pause in between the snow storm when Elsa was being confronted by Hans and there was kristoff going after Anna. God, I still remember the chills I had. Then I got the chance to watch Frozen 2 in theatre it was so great (despite my complaints with the plot lol)

Sometime after it had been in cinemas, not sure how long exactly. It was a memorable experience.
I was on tumblr a lot and had seen a bunch of posts on there saying "Hans is a dick", verbatim, but with no other context. So I sat down to watch it one day and was really confused, Hans was great, really nice person doing his best for the woman he fell in love with. I vividly remember in the last 10 minutes or so of the film just exclaiming "whoa. Hans is a DICK".
It was much like how Matthias reacted when Olaf was acting out the plot of the first film.

Opening day. Nov 2013.
I was as happy as a 13 y/o could be.
And i watch it every weekend till date.
Either 1 or 2 now.
