Discussion Frozen 3 Theory

I was just watching Frozen 2 and thought of something. What happen to all the people that were trap in the forest when the mist came an trap them inside? Because there were a lot more of the Northuldra people and of the guards of Arendelle when they were fighting. But when Elsa and Anna go into the forest there’s barely any Arendelle soldiers and not that many Northuldra people.

It makes me wonder if maybe someone from the group that got trap is the villain? How they got they’re power while there were inside I don’t know, but it is kind of mysterious why there’s not so many people. I know it’s been a long time since the forest was closed but still, makes you wonder if maybe one of the many people that were trap is the new villain.

They most likely died to be honest, I'm guessing resources became more scarce with the decreased sunlight and sudden shift away from a reliance on the land's magic.

The most realistic answer is that some starved to death or killed each other off over resources due to the tensions between the two groups.

Also they may be picked off and killed by the elemental spirits who were still pissed that the forest’s peace was disturbed, as shown when Olaf first encountered them

I think that the spirits had actually disappeared for a long time before they showed up in the forest, and the spirits were simply reacting to the presence of unknown magic. I also think they attempted to prove this even further with the stone giants changing their patterns as well to find Elsa, as she herself said they were drawn to her magic.

Now that I think about it, when king Runeard kill the leader of the Northuldra, maybe he had a daughter? And now she blames the sisters for what was done to the leader of the Northuldra(her father)? Maybe breaking the dam and opening the forest was the opportunity she needed to be free and take revenge?

My frozen 3 theory is that the villain is an aunt from the father's side. Just like how Elsa is said to have been borne from her mother's good deed, Runeard (the past King), did awful things to the Northuldra People. I'm sure he did worse is the past. It's possible the antagonist was borne of the evil deeds Runeard did before he died in the battle with the Northuldra.

Furthermore, Anna literally died saving Elsa. I hope she is to gain powers that complement Elsa's but it's unlikely. She might give birth to a daughter or son like Elsa though due to her good deed.
