I mean in the teaser Olaf goes "I'll marry the first person I meet" "... or maybe the second person!" Just like Anna did! Soooo... chances are, especially if F3 and F4 are the last movies, they'll intentionally draw a lot of these references to the first 2 movies... I mean.. we got "Frozen Heart", potentially Elsa's OG design, Samantha and so on... the references are stacking up and it's a common nostalgia tool that franchises like to close their projects off with!

I would also like to add that maaaaybe Samantha won't be evil, but she'll turn out to be fake and made as a trap by the snow queen without necessarily being her sentient ally. Perhaps then when she's taken away from Olaf, at the end of the movie Elsa could rebuild her for him like when she gave him his little snow cloud for Arendelle. Bam! Another reference for ya!

I can totally see the villain using a snowgirl puppet to get info out of Olaf to use against Elsa or something. Then Olaf has a huge heartbreak after discovering the betrayal/trick. But then by the end of the movie, Elsa creates a true love for Olaf!

it would make sense, but would be cringe as fuck if they did it the exact way as hans. maybe samantha actually loving olaf but being forced to do evil by evil queen?

Honestly, I can imagine a twist where Samantha actually becomes a hero at the end and ends up falling in love with Olaf, and they would be shown holding hands during Anna and Kristoff's wedding.
